A far right Libertarian and TV pundit has won the election in Argentina, a country suffering from inflation of 140%.

Anyone who has listened to this guy knows he's bold and blunt. What happens next is anyones guess, since their economy is in a shamble and since he appears determined to turn their system upside down by closing many ministries and shutting down the peso in favor of the dollar.

CNN

"Javier Milei has won Argentina’s presidential elections in provisional results, wrenching his country to the right with a bombastic anti-establishment campaign that drew comparisons to former US President Donald Trump – all against the backdrop of one of the world’s highest inflation rates.

His rival Sergio Massa conceded the run-off vote on Sunday evening in a brief speech even before official results were announced. “Milei is the president elected for the next 4 years,” said Massa, adding that he had already called Milei to congratulate him."

I heard a lot of good things about him. He wants to be responsible and do away with the Argentina national bank and convert all the currency in Argentina to USA dollars, control inflation to acceptable level. It is just a left-wing news agency would find all of this a problem. Argentina is a country with a lot possibilities with the right leadership. We will just have to see how this plays out. Trump on the other hand was a big spender irresponsible about anything except trying to make himself look good. He is responsible for much of the inflation we recently had.
3) There has been no "threat" to invade Ukraine. The US invented that and fed it to a complicit media.

Javier Milei, a 53-year-old populist and right-wing libertarian, won a convincing victory in Argentina's presidential election on Nov. 19. Known for making a chainsaw the symbol of his campaign, representing his plans to cut budgetary expenditures and "disassemble" the political establishment, Milei has consistently voiced strong support for Ukraine.
