Mailing a letter to Russia from the US
« on: September 01, 2022, 08:58:02 AM »
I know we don't use snail mail like we used to, but I would like to mail a very small item (wrist band) to my girlfriend in Moscow. Google tells me that most of the commercial shipping companies have stopped delivering in Russia, however the US Postal Service is supposed to still work.

Has anyone here mailed something to Russia in the past couple of months from the US? Do you think the postal service is a good way to mail something to Russia?

I might just wait the 4 months until I see here again...

Perhaps you can use Meest.com. They have offices in the United States and have a network in the fSU. Better still get on a plane and bring it yourself (not in four months)

I'll check out Meest, thank you.

I just spent 3 weeks in Moscow and 1 week in Turkey with my girl, but this need came about after I got back home.

Royal Mail from the UK is working OK, so I can't see why USPS wouldnt work OK too.

Look what the American media makes some people believe:
Putin often threatens to strike US with nuclear weapons.
