Short version: stay away from credit and credit cards
Only stupid people should stay away from credit cards. David Icke said government should provide interest free loans to people but that is what credit cards do. If a person has a credit card with a $3000 limit, they can borrow $3000 without interest forever. The trick is they need to pay it back every month so they don't pay interest.
Credit cards are actually better than interest free loans. My credit cards give me 1.5% to 3% cash back. Many of the things I buy I need to buy with a credit card or I prefer to buy with a credit card because of the buyer's protection it gives me. I buy over $20,000 a month on my credit cards and at 2% cash back, I make $400 a month and pay no interest since I pay it off on time. It's also a good way to build up a good credit history so when you make a major purchase such as a house, you will get lower interest rates which in turn saves you more money.
I expect people in their 20's to get in trouble with their credit cards. At age 50, you guys should know how to successfully navigate through life utilizing all its benefits. Credit cards can be a benefit.
I also have a credit line where I can borrow thousands of dollars interest free if I pay back within 6 months. It's basically free money loaned to me for life at zero interest as long as I pay it back every six months. After paying it off, I quickly max out the credit line.
I owe my shipping company an average of $1000 a week but I will pay that bill a month later so I always owe them $4-5000 per month but that money I keep free of interest for a month to use in my business.
You need money to make money.
