I don't like to think in terms of such huge generalisations as left v right because usually it is just not accurate.

I think it is significant that the hullabaloo is about a man who is seen by many people with their hands close to the levers of power in the UK as being a major architect of both Boris Johnson's election victory and the success in getting the UK to its current position in leaving the EU.

The thing is that, just as in the USA, the left/right thing is a false dichotomy presented to the masses to confuse and misdirected. It also serves to give us peons a sense of agency through the ballot box where no such agency truly exists.

What we have are groups of people with disparate goals who are able to find common cause from time to time against the main power vertical - in this case the elected British government.

So, the current battleground is almost certainly still Britain leaving the EU and the various opposition power groups are aligned against the current government. However, it is almost certain that not all the power groups opposing the government agree about the EU. All the power groups are against the government and so find common cause in that.

Its a similar situation to ww2 where the USA and UK allied with Russia to beat the Axis Powers. Once the war had been won then the USA and UK planned to invade and destroy Russia (not the Soviet Union). In that effort, had it taken place a reconstituted German army would have joined with the UK and USA against the new foe.

Clutching at straws, to say the least.

Anyone who has been convinced to break the lockdown rules, because of what Dominic Cummings allegedly did, is a complete moron! We live in a day and age where people want all the freedoms of choice yet cant accept personal responsibility when it goes wrong. They don't want anyone to tell them what to do but need someone to blame when they've been an idiot.

Sorry but I'm not having that and I've yet to speak to any of my friends who think its OK to do what they want because of the DC story. This is a speculative article for trouble making journalists and an alibi for the spoilt brat generation.

But, this has nothing to do with that....


THIS was about the govt. losing the trust of people at THE most crucial moment.

If you  chose to be honest without yourself, instead of some need to argue because it's Moby....You'd see I have a point.

Asked about the promotion of Milton Keynes MP Iain Stewart to the Scotland Office to replace Ross, he refused to agree it was a point of principle that Scottish MPs should represent their country.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said he is ready to pay a fine if his indoor meeting at a café in the city of Khmelnytsky is considered a violation of the quarantine rules. "I am ready to pay a fine if I've violated something... I was invited, I went in, everything was checked there," he told a local journalist, according to the Ukrayinska Pravda online newspaper. On June 3, the President Office's Telegram channel posted a photo showing Zelensky sitting at one table with other officials, including President's Chief of Staff Andriy Yermak, First Deputy Head of the President's Office Serhiy Trofimov, Khmelnytsky Governor Dmytro Gabinet, and Khmelnytsky Mayor Oleksandr Symchyshyn.

"President Volodymyr Zelensky had a walk around the central part of the city of Khmelnytsky and tried coffee at a local café," the president's press service said. "Nice coffee in Khmelnytsky! Fragrant and delicious! The first cafés are exiting from quarantine, we are rebounding from the coronavirus epidemic," as reported on the president's Instagram account under another similar photo taken in the same café.

It’s quite clear that you’re simply projecting your own outrage and using current affairs to give it oxygen. Nobody out there fighting for racial equality, rioting or causing criminal damage is even talking about Dominic Cummings. I bet most of the black youth haven’t even heard of him, they probably don’t know anything about George Floyd either. It’s only you and your small mind that can’t let it go. 

In fact, whilst you’re out interviewing people, I bet most don’t even really know why they’re there. Most are simply out with faux outrage, protesting with limited knowledge about the reality.
