I am quite rusty with Russian now since wifey self-declared her English to be 99% (I tease her it's a mere 69% as she struggles with Scottish accents - which narks her. Our 10 yr old daughter uses Yorkshire slang and a broad Yorkshire accent for fun which throws her ).

Cyrillic, like any alphabet, you learn and can read thereafter. But if the word is in your vocabulary (or memory) is another matter.

Best way to do it unless it’s a young couple on their first. That said, a lot of people in the UK are doing this instead of the 300 person 40 grand wedding.

They’d be better off buying a house and celebrating their big day with the nearest & dearest.
