Was there in a weekend , visiting some friends in Preston/chester.

I can only show chester photo's though, because of privacy of my friends.

Starting with Schiphol airport

I enjoyed the city very much, lots of things to see.

Chester is a nice place Mark, very old and lots of History. Good pictures. 

Schiphol is a nice airport too, but I always have bad memoroes of it as they loose my baggage every time I change flights there

Unfortunatly not.

I am always interested in culture, history and old stuff to see. But company I was in, made it impossible to visit religious places.

There is also the Dewa Roman Experience, Deva is the roman fortress built almost 2,000 years ago which now lies buried beneath modern day Chester. The Roman fortress of Deva pronounced 'Dewa' in Roman times. You can stroll along a reconstructed street, experiencing some of the sights, sounds and smells of life inside the Roman fortress.

Ok if you are into that sort of thing  its a long time since I last visited Chester for any length of time. I usually only go there on business now.

Yeah, I was there for a much too short time to do a proper tourist visit. I was there mainly to chat with my friend
