Title: Two Su-27 fighters intercepted a US strategic bomber over the Black Sea

More fun and games between the US and Russia.   :plane:

====================

Two Su-27 fighters intercepted a US strategic bomber over the Black Sea

The American aircraft was not allowed to violate the state border of the Russian Federation.

On Friday, August 28, Russian airspace control over the neutral waters of the Black Sea detected an air target approaching the state border of the Russian Federation. This was reported by the National Defense Control Center of the Russian Federation.

To identify the air target and prevent violation of the state border of Russia, two Su-27 fighters were raised into the air.

“The crews of Russian fighters approached a safe distance to the aerial object and identified it as the US Air Force B-52H strategic bomber,” it was reported.

After the foreign military plane turned away from the state border, the Russian fighter safely returned to the home airfield.

The entire flight of Russian Su-27 fighters took place strictly in accordance with international rules for the use of airspace.

The American aircraft was not allowed to violate the state border of the Russian Federation.

What is the big deal. Russia does this several time a day to the USA. We have to do three or some more intercepts a day in Alaska. It is a big, slow, easy to see on radar, low tech plane that is really not a threat to anyone. Sometime Russia sends these type of plans to us. Other times the send fighter up to six at once.

I believe that both sides do this to gauge reaction and response time. The navies do this also, cutting each other off and thumbing their noses at each other. If they should actually hit each other or otherwise cause damage then it would be an incident.

Manny does not even talk about which flight over the black sea.  Post the article he thinks is wrong in the western media or why the Russian pilot version would be more believable than the USA pilot.

That is correct. We only read about these things when the media wants to get their readers worried and worked up over something that is normal behavior among competing nations.

For Fook Sakes ... We work together in Space on the international space station... These are just Summer RU and USA Air Reserve units on summer exercises using old equipment to practice with and divert the media from our real capabilities a.k.a. USSS United States Space Ships... US Spacecraft Carriers for near quantum TR3B, TR3E and latest quantum space warp tech...

American bomber gets intercepted on Russia border by two Russian jets. Media works up anti Russian mouth breathers into a frenzy by showing a Russian jet cutting over the nose of said bomber.

Meanwhile Billy blames Putin and Tex belittles Russian technology whilst sitting in his trailer. :chuckle:

Is this even news? It happens on a regular basis.

I suspect that Tex is not living in some a caravan (trailer).

The intercept was so close that it caused the plane to shake causing the camera person to fall when it passed in front of the B52 bomber. The USA is complaining the intercept was not safe and the video is posted.  I did not complain about Russian technology only the B-52 is a low tech plane built in the 1950's, slow and is not much of a threat. When the jet passes in front of the bomber that close there is back wash and turbulence from the fighter which make the bomber hard to control. Anyway Manny started this just as more proof RT news is fake.

Well, first the source wasn’t RT and second it wasn’t fake as it’s confirmed by western media as well.

But you’d have nothing to complain about if your ancient old planes were flying around over the US. There aren’t any Russian jets there. But no, they’re flying about on Russia’s borders. If they wasn’t thousands of miles from home they wouldn’t get buzzed.

I am sure that Texan77's military leaders would be concerned to hear that one of their most significant ordnance delivery systems is 'not much of a threat'. That's not why they are being upgraded for another 50 years of service.

I am sure that the Russian government will be equally pleased with Texan77's insightful analysis and turn off their defence systems should the United States choose to deploy their strategic nuclear bombers over Russia.

On a more serious note, how on earth can some people manage to breathe and eat independently given the empirical evidence of their cognitive abilities?

THey play these games far more often than most know, must be a slow news day.
Odds are they caught something on camera, trying to make other look bad.

Perhaps urban legend, but there is a story dating back to the Cold War period of Russian planes confronting American planes over the North Atlantic. As they closed one could see the Russians having what was believed to be shots of vodka. The American aviators held up copies of the Playboy centerfold. They parted dipping wings!

I would only be concerned if one of our Quantum Tech ARVs were being buzzed (Reference TR3B Hall video interview of McKinnon above) of course the TR3Bs were built in 1996 and supplemented by TR3Es - our latest ARV Quantum Tech is literally out of this world...

If our Space Station Russian Cosmos/Astro friends have tech that can buzz our Quantum tech means they have the same ARV Quantum technology...  We now have a Spaceforce for a reason...  i.e. see 12 year old Gary McKinnon interview with Hall.

China and Russia still playing catchup for the time being...

Even thermonuclear tech has been upgraded to much more lethal Particle Beam and Explosive tech with much less radiation... quite sophisticated really...

Our Antique B52 Weekend Warriors need a good buzzing now and again to keep their skills sharp.
