Nice pics Orchid. If you could post where and of what, that would be great as most people wouldn't have a clue.
It's not about destination....
It's all about spirit and beauty.
It's all about how I love India.

I love you, Volshe.
As teens we were studying carefully Kama Sutra, it was the only "sexual education" available to us. :innocent:
I remember to this day that at the time ( i think i was 15)

Mr. Dogsoldier,
I like you more on your Dog side: silent and understanding.
Huh, you won't find much of the KS in modern India. As teens we were studying carefully Kama Sutra, it was the only "sexual education" available to us. :innocent:

You had to pour on our parade, hadn't you?! :( :( :(
You won't really find Blake's angels hanging out on the trees in modern UK, or the Njegos' mountain wreath in contemporary Monte, but that doesn't stop us from admiring the best of world's poetics and peaks of human thought :GRRRR:
(Btw, Kama Sutra is an obligatory read in the 1st year if you are doing BA in World Literature ;) :KISSSS:)

You didn't quite ask me that.....
I was responding to this from Orchid:
But you have not answered the main question.
Let me be more precise:
Have you ever been a beautiful woman with white skin in modern India, Soldier?

I have been with a beautiful white woman, my wife, in India. ;D
The first time, we honeymooned on an islan in the Andaman Sea.
We have seen the Taj Mahal at sunrise.
We have walked on the beaches of Goa and strolled through the streets of Calcutta amongst other things.
I have trekked in the Himalayas and seen Everest at dawn.
Next year we are moving to India to live.
Does that apply to our very own Orchid, given her fascination with the Kama Sutra? :laugh:You didn't quite ask me that.....

From reading the interesting posts of our Dogsoldier, I suspect that he is originally from India.
Most of my friends who traveled to India posted either pictures of extreme poverty or 1001 selfie from some godforsaken ashram.

I was fed up with people taking selfies.
Visit to India has changed and healed me in many ways.
One guide in Mumbai gave me a picture of his kids.
India has it's own way in everything, including selfies.
They do not irritate me anymore.
I hope you will smile....

Is Orchid a Thai woman from Thailand? In my experience they're the most exotic and most capable of fulfilling any type of Kama Sutra fantasy.
We have seen the Taj Mahal at sunrise.

clasno, kruto, klevo, otpad, interesno, zdorovo, slavno!
Next pictures are to remind to Mr. DS and his beautiful wife about very special time in a very special place.
Pictures are very weak illustration why it is special.
To know that you must be there.
People travel from all over the world to bring their love to Taj Mahal.
You can see it in their eyes and how couples hold each other....
Once you step on those stones, you will never be able cut the ties to this place.
Where did you learn all that slang?! :o
preksrasno, volshebno, chudno
krasota,
lepota (ustar.)

I am not so certain he was punishing his father. The amount of money his father was spending must have almost bankrupted the country.
You know this story.... or history.
Nowadays the Taj Mahal gives gob to the whole Agra city.
And it is the most famous love story on the Earth.
Not many remember the name of his son...
I've spent years pursuing one FSUW or another, (before getting married)
you tend to pick stuff up as you go.
... based on your posts...

Based on your avatar, I am freezed in a Lotus asana thinking of you, Volshe...
Please, change your spouse's country from Narnia to Nirvana.
It would be right thing to do....
You know the old saying: "if you meet the Buddha on the road, kill him" ;D

Is there anyone who can prevent us to change this dogma to
"if you meet the Buddha on the road, talk to him, seduce him, and then.... think hard what to do with all this crap."
P., based on your posts, i've formed an opinion of you as of a very intelligent and nicest possible guy. Please confess that you are using a slang dictionary, not that you know those by heart ;D ;D ;D

I knew clasno, kruto, klevo and otpad from chatting with FSUW back when
I was single. Then I was on a chat with many, many FSUW on it when I
posted those four. Then several others joined in and soon I had a huge
list of words for cool. I have been led to understand that otpad is a little
bit old school, like groovy or far out.
I didn't use a dictionary, but I did have a lot of help.

Wonderful photos Orchid. Thank you for sharing!
If someday I'm blessed to have a special lady in my life, I will definitely put this on the Orchid recommends to do list. :)

The most difficult is to chose pictures to post. I have thousands of them.....
I look at my pictures, dive in my memory, and it takes hours to make a post.
I am going to Las Vegas in the morning.
This thread will wait until I am back.
India is so exotic, diverse, and fascinated country!!!
Whatever you say about it is never enough.
Love you, Volshe! :)
I know you will. :)
I am going to Las Vegas in the morning.
I am going to Las Vegas in the morning.
It's supposed to be 113F which is approx 45C in Las Vegas today.
Hopefully you stay cool, and stay wet. It's a dry heat sort of like
putting your head in an oven then stuffing a hair dryer in your
mouth, but our Orchid is an adventurer and will be fine.
She just needs to remember to wear sunglasses to protect her eyes
from the hazards of umbrella drinks.
Schastlivogo puti!
Nice pics Orchid!
Bora Bora is my next dream destination.

Our friend has sold his house there.
We are going to help him packing. He is an old gentleman.
There is a water pool. I will swim if I am too hot.
Mid July is the worst time to go to Las Vegas if you are a tourist.
But I am planning to live there..... Heat will be a part of my life.
Still will do something at night.
There is always something going on in Vegas.

I doubt that a gondola is a romantic place for a former US Marine Corps officer size 5X.....
Never attempted to try though... Prefer to have fun alive.... :rolleye0009:

That's how we reason! ;D A gondola/ narrow canoe, is used commonly as transportation on our Lake Skadar. It's usually an older lady and a goat or a dog on it, or the lady taking cheese she made to the market on the other shore... An average Montenegrin guy 2m high and of some 110-120 kg, getting into the gondola, more so together with his beloved... Not really... (At least i've never seen a scene like that!) ;D
Now I know why he repeats so often "You are my rock!"
Believe or not, but it was raining in Vegas....
If you see water flowing across a road, never drive over it, so many people have lost their lives in flash floods.
My parents live 207 miles (333km) South of Las Vegas. I lived there as a kid
but was very happy to leave.

May I ask you why?
Las Vegas became more expensive.
The first time I saw paid parking. It was at MGM.
Shows and buffets are more expensive.
No sales at stores.
There were so many British!!! Why do they come in summer?
The weather in winter is so good!!!

There isn't much 207 miles South of Las Vegas. There weren't many jobs there
especially when I left. Now the largest employer in the area is one of the prisons
there. The prison population far exceeds the non prison population.

Orchid, your photography of people and portraits in particular are breathtaking! Wow! All of them are outstanding, but imo the series with little girl at the ocean is iconic! Thank you so much for sharing! :loving:
Orchid, this thread is such a joy to read and view the many wonderful photos.
Thank you so very much for sharing these treasures.
I took this picture in Cochin, India.
