CHEVROLET Spark LT, 2011, 14570$

Kool I have never seen a Chevy Spark in the USA - must be made in China for Asian markets due to lower price perhaps?

The FG Cruiser is I think different from the Land Cruiser however. The Lexus version of the Land Cruiser is the GX series I think.  Always wanted a Land Cruiser, but miles per gallon, given how much I drive in a year, kept me away.

Don't Japanese cars in Japan have the steering wheel on the right like UK OZ NZ and India???

Then the Vladivostok folks are driving right hand cars in a left hand country??   Or is it since so many cars in Japan made for export (North and South America) markets they can get plenty of left hand steering models???

Cuffy take a look at Millaa's photos.  Many of the cars are RHD.

Yes, they are ... Talks about the ban (limit) on right hand cars are almost as old as these cars are imported into Russia from Japan (almost all Far East  got used to its). In 2008 there were active protests with Moscow OMON participation cuz local police refused to suppress the action. The new technical regulations prohibit the import, but not using of right hand cars - Moscow is afraid of separatist moods before elections.  ;D

When I lived in Honolulu in 2004 and 2005 I can't tell you how many Japanese tourists would rent a car on Oahu to tour the island only to forget to bear right and I would have to stop flash my headlights and wave my arms like a mad man at a stop light or sign to get their attention to let them know in highly expressive body language (It was considered and impolite and not "Aloha" - to yell at the Japanese tourists since their money floated the Islands!) that they need to be on the other side of the road and not driving right at me - can only imagine if Vladivostok Drivers like Moscow it could be a life threatening experience!

How on earth did it get that way round on a street like that?

Did he roll it on a snowbank at the roadside maybe? But at what speed?

Madness.

We have very strange winter this year... absolutely no snow  :scared0005:
I never remember year when Golden Horn was frosen... now we have it. People cant get to Russky island by ferry, they have to walk to their working places.
I put some pictures how Vladivostok looks this winter... just 250 metres to connect the main bridge.

Very Kool - looks like Validivostok on its way to become a major Pacific Rim Center of Education, Trade & Commerce.  I would still like the weather better in Singapore though and they speak Angliski there ;)

I just haven't had the time to prioritise them yet. Maybe Mars first as I'm sure to meet some RUA members floating about.  :-X

Good choice, I am certain we have had a few members from there over the last year or so  :chuckle: and its sure to have more homely comforts than Somalia, not sure about Vlad though  :)

Some unhappy Russians are going to have to wait for the next shipload of cars to get their shiny used quality built Japanese car.     Weather doesn't look good Millaa.
