A sex tourist told me they also sell Viagra that way

What?!  Viagra in Russia?  You mean Sildenafil citrate, the stuff that makes your pee pee go hard so you can have sex?  Is that really necessary in Russia? :chuckle:

The main difference is that in Canada you cannot get medications without a prescription and this includes, for example, birth control pills. In Russia, from what I have seen, you can buy pretty much any medication without a prescription.

And lets say that woman is on certain birth control medication for years and years, but every 3 months she has to go to her doctor and renew her prescription and obviously pay him/her for a visit.  At the same time that prescription is given to her without any sort of tests and nobody will check if that particular sort of pills will suit her at all. That is how it is here, in Au. It is not like that in Russia. Before woman starts taking them she will get tests done and decides with the doctor what type of pills is the best for her, then she can go to the chemist and buy them when ever she wants and as much as she wants. I know a lot of RW who came to Au with yearly supply of birth control pills.

Misha's point about counterfeits is well placed. All sorts of things from batteries to camera film can be counterfeited but of course medicines are much more serious of an issue than a fake battery.

I didn't see where he was taking about fake medication, but I have to say that it is a world-wide problem, not Russian problem. We saw a program on TV about fake medications made in India, and believe me that stuff is sold not in Russia but in Western countries. They mentioned US and Canada and I guess it they showed on our Tv it was a problem for Australia as well.

It is if your 60 have ED are desperately trying to impress a 20yo with your prowess so she'll take a flight to the land of monetary promises. You might even need 3, besides it'll also help with the 'exercise' induced angina.

There are some rocket scientists club goers who like to mix Viagra, Parkinsons meds, exstacy, and alcohol. That ends up going well, and if you're lucky you might even be more than a drooling shell of a body in a nursing home when you're done..

You have to pay to go see a doctor in Australia? Here, is is a free service, though you do have to take the time to go see the doctor. Also, IIRC, it is possible for a woman in Canada to get a prescription that will last for more than three months.

All women in Russia do this? In some cases from what I was told by women, they were doing it more by trial and error. They would try out a brand recommended by their friends, and if they had problems they would go see a doctor.

yes, in most cases.  And to be honest with you I see all this 3-months prescriptions as a money making machines.

That is how we used to do this. When I'm talking to much younger women all of them seem to have done those tests. It is very common this days and my understanding is that gynecologist suggests them when they are discussing contraception.
