January 2009 - RUA's Record Month!

I was just reading our board statistics, January 2009 has been a record month for RUA. Check these statistics out.........


* More topics created than any other month before, by a wide margin.
* The most posts ever in any month, by a wide margin.
* The most new members since April 2007, the month the board started.
* 48,000 more page views than the previous best month.
It gets better......

I was checking the statistics of other forums with a similar genre recently. Most don't make their detailed statistics public of course, but I monitored one or two over a random week using their published totals to calculate and compare. Our topic and post count was the highest.

There is more.......

I checked the domain creation date of other forums with a similar genre, and calculated their average monthly post and topic counts since creation based on their current totals. Guess what? We were MILES ahead!

Other forums have a slightly higher total post count than us, but then again, they are years older than us. I reckon that makes much of their content somewhat outdated. The Russian women situation is much different today than it was five or six years ago.

As mentioned in yesterdays Newsletter, by my reckoning, that makes us the busiest, most up-to-date and relevant Russian women information and discussion forum on the internet!  :party0031:

Our newsletter went out yesterday; that traffic combined with yesterdays radio show traffic crashed the forum last night and caused a database error.  :duh:

Thankfully, our tech Greyscales got us fixed up again pretty quickly.  :bow:
