A friend of mine was checking the cuteonly site. As chance would have it earlier that day he had seen a photo of Paulina Porizkova ( the Czech actress/model) on the Internet. While browsing the cuteonly catalog of photos he saw a different woman wearing the exact same clothes and posing in the exact same manner as Porizkova. He was able to compare the photos side by side and determined that they were the same photo with a different head photoshopped onto the cuteonly pic (the wrinkles in the jeans were even the same in both photos).

He contacted cuteonly for an explanation ( sent them both photos) and was told it was "just a coincidence".

Can you link/attach the pic and profile for us, Greg? :)

I have requested the photos from him. I did not realize that cuteonly advertised here until after I talked to him last nite.

Well, if your friend's observation is accurate and the agency continues to deny it (especially if it's photoshopped) we'd want to know about it.

I had a profile on that website and I had so many scammers contacting me that I just finally let the subscription run out. I still get notices from women on that site in my personal email box, but I do not even go back because I would have to pay to read them and also because usually it is something similar to what I ran into before.  They will remove scammers and frequently the scammer will blanket email lots of cute only people right away after she creates a profile, but by the time you get to read her letter and check her profile out, I usually looked even though I could see they looked like a scammer (too beautiful), then their profile was removed.

If a scammer does get my private email box and starts emailing me, I usually respond nicely for an explanation about their past or history with a link to some scam site where there is a link to thier scam profile.  If they do not answer the question, they I start sending them some better emails telling them about my coming to visit and they can shack up with me a ask them all sorts of dirty things, telling them I would like some "art" pictures and things like that. I don't use four letter words or overly descriptive language, but it usually stops the emails. :evilgrin0002:

I used "CuteOnly" at the end of 2005 and throught the year in 2006. Yes, there were scammers/false ID's and I was contacted by many thru this site (and I mean thru the site not my personal email) these scammers would give me their personal email and yes a few I would contact and the whole "hairy boris" event would follow.

But I never was contacted by a "scammer" direct from this site (Hairy Boris being able to contact me direct at my personal email address without going thru CuteOnly first). During the time I used CuteOnly any time I felt suspicious of any profile they were quickly removed from there database. so my only means of contacting them would have been thru personal email only.

so it is IMO CuteOnly during the time I used them acted as quickly as possible.

I would use them again and in fact the "FRIST" woman I visited (2006) was a woman I met thru "Cuteonly" and to this day she was the "Most Beautiful Woman" I have ever had seen in person, or on film or TV. She was absolutely gorgeous, her pics on the site (no longer on the site or anywhere) and what she sent me personally never came close to doing justice to her beauty in real life.

it was really a case of being so "naive" and not knowing what to do that I let a "goddess slip between my fingers"

of course I cannot speak of what there business practices are in 2009 only what I experienced in 2005/2006

It was actually a pic of Karolina Kurkova not Paulina Porizkova. Think they're photochopped?

Thanks for posting these pics Greg. :) Pass on to your friend good job spotting the photoshop. I'll see if we can get hold of the agency and inform them of same, if they continue to maintain the profile pic is a "coincidence" We'll simply post our recommendations of this agency accordingly. ;)

I have seen enough already to determine that I would not use cuteonly. It sounds like their agency is slipshod at best and I hate to see them advertising here.

We will wait to see what action they take on this profile, and if nothing, they will be removed.

I have no pull with them; the affiliate relationship is not a personal one. I think we only have a banner on the front page now? (Unless they crop up in the Google ads?) I need to check what we actually run of theirs.

Brass and I will be composing an e-mail or letter to them. Can anyone find out who the boss is there? Or a reliable point of contact?

The site lists a Moscow address:

Cute International LLC
B.Novodmitrovskaya, 14/2
Moscow, Russia
125015

I have e-mailed them for a managers direct e-mail address. If not, we can snail mail them to Moscow.

Well it has been five days and I have not had a reply. I think that is long enough.  ::)

If someone wants to compose an initial communication to them about the fake profile and send it to me by PM, I will write to them on behalf of the forum as a whole, linking this topic, my wife will translate it (for absolute clarity) and we will snail mail them to Moscow. (About 5 days it takes).

If they don't reply, or reply in the negative, we can happily announce that they knowingly host fake profiles and are unwilling to remove them. I will remove their advertisements from here in that case and block them from Google content here also.

It wasn't their finest hour ignoring an e-mail from the busiest Russian Women Forum on the net!  :party0031:

As far as contacting cuteonly about the photochopping of someone's head onto Ms. Kurkova's body and posting  Ms. Cuthbert's photo I don't know what you say to an "agency" that allows that to happen. I guess my comment would be that some of us are dumb but "we ain't stupid."

I trust that Manny/ and or the mods can compose a suitable communication to them. I would like to be a fly on the wall when they learn that one of their employees "screwed the pooch" by ignoring Manny's initial email regarding this matter. " But boss I didn't know who he was!"

Sorry Greg. As mentioned above Manny sent an email requesting clarification, there has been no reply as of this date. Option 2 (snail mail) appears to be the next course of action. I'm not holding out much hope for an answer, though.

Update: Jenifer is still listed so I guess they're not paying attention.

Manny not sure how much effort you want to put into this but if you google "B.Novodmitrovskaya, 14/2" you will find that it is also home to http://www.iconpharm.com/contacts.html.  It is also the same office number 226.  The contact name at iconpharm is Ivan Boyko strangely similar to Ivan Bondar.

Iconpharm lists contacts in Moscow, New York and Slough PDO (which when looked for on a google map appears to be just outside London, UK (don't know if this is correct).  Unfortunately, the London address is only a P.O. box.

Now Manny a warning about this site.  If you google the fax number "7 (495) 223-3864"  which is listed as a fax and voicemail number for IconPharm you will also find that it is a contact number for Design Directory. Design companies and freelancers in Moscow, Russia whose website is "www(AT)design-agency.com/Russian_Federation/Moscow".

When I clicked on this link my McAfee virus package  immediately warned me that this website is a KNOWN ATTACK WEBSITE.  Whether this means their computers have been infected or not I don't know but probably better to be warned and avoid the site.  If anyone has visited this site it would be a good idea to run a virus check on your computer to see if any viruses or trojans or anything else has been downloaded to your computer.

I set up a profile on cuteonly without saying anything about myself and without attaching a picture.

I was nevertheless immediately innundated by emails from Russian hotties.

I didn't read the emails (you have to pay and join the site to do this).

This site has to be mostly or completely a scam.
