100,000th Post Competition - Cash Prize!

(1/20) > >>

Manny:
In the next few months, RUA will top the 100,000 post mark.  :party0011:

At 20,000 posts, and 50,000 posts we had a competition and two of our members won something. As we approach another huge milestone in our growth, I thought it may be nice to do something again.

Our techs are able to determine which post is the 100,000th, and members can easily track it. (We are using the message counter at the bottom of the board not message numbers in the URL's - they can differ.) If a Mod, Admin or a Tech makes the 100,000th post, the prize will go to the next valid member post up. (100,001 for example.) If members prefer mods and techs are included, say so on this topic, and that might change. (I will exclude myself from that if so)

Rules: The winning post must be from a member with at least ten posts, and a proper post in a public room; that means not a post with just an emoticon, "me too", "lol" or similar comment in, and not any post in Off Topic & Dogpile or any private rooms. In case of doubt or disagreement as to the valid post, we will go with a minimum 3/5 vote from mods: Manny, Chris, Brasscasing, BB and Mendeleyev.

Reading guests: It's not too late to sign up as a member and win!

So whats the prize? Fifty Bucks! (Well we are not made of money.) One prize never suits everyone, so we will go for a multi-choice. Here are the options:

* Option One: $50 (US) credited to either your Paypal account (or a similar merchant account like Nochex) or to a charity of your choice if you prefer. (Your choice will not be announced as per your choice.) If you are not American, it will be the equivalent in your currency. Today, US$50 buys £35 or €35 for example.*
* Option Two: If you are a neophyte in your search, you may prefer a copy of The Russian Bride Guide, mailed right to your door, with a crisp $20 bill tucked inside the front cover (or £15, 700 руб (Russian Rubles) or €15 according to your preference).
* Option Three: Again, probably for guys at the beginning of their journey, we are turning Dollars into Pounds: UK £50 (Around US$70) of services at our associated site: Ladagirl.com. You can use that £50 for translation, verification calls, three-way calls, womens contact information or any other service Ladagirl offers.
The $50 is not meant to be a traffic stopping huge prize. It is meant to be a token "Thank You" to one of the active members here who make the forum what it is; a super resource for many people.

I think the three options above offer something for everyone; newbies and married members alike. If you are new to the pursuit of Russian women, you can choose to take a copy of the Russian Bride Guide with 700 Rubles tucked inside the front cover for example. That 700 Rubles will buy your lunch when you pass through Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport on the way to visit your first lady. You can choose £50 of Ladagirl services if you prefer. If you are a married veteran member, you can just send the $50 to your Paypal account or to a charity of your choice if you prefer.

So who will it be?

* If a member in the Russian Federation or Ukraine wins the $50, and wants the money, but has no Paypal account, the $50 will be sent by bank transfer from within the FSU sans bank charges.

Well - I would settle for a real UK National Lottery Ticket that the Nigerians keep telling me I have won - or a few quid bet on the Spring Grand National Steeplechase race in Aintree!!!!

With our new Wiemar republic currencies and $900 troy ounce Gold - will really need to leverage that $50 or 50GBP prize (No British Pound symbol on this bloody new GE Yank Spankin multimedia Keyboard).

Strange has a Euro E symbol next to the number 5 but darned if I can figure how it works!

Good luck to number 100K tiphat

The question is can we take ours in UK National lottery tickets or Grand National bookmakers betting slips?

$50 or 50 Quid would go a lot farther leveraged a bit...

Got to love those million to one odds :smokin:
