Were you shipped in a crate? My last relationship didn't come in a box either. My buddies and I order a package deal shipped in a bulk freight wooden crate. It was a good deal for a few of my friends, but my bride didn't arrive as expected.  :( I'll use Fed Ex next time.

Wild, don't you see that it's a humorous parody of the "mailorder bride" thing. It's pretty obvious IMO

It could be taken as a parody.  Or just another way that the stereotype sneaks into the mainstream.

Of course clever cover, will get attention on the shelves anyway.
Look, we're gonna spend half the night driving around the Hills looking for this one party and you're going to say it sucks and we're all gonna leave and then we're gonna go look for this other party. But all the parties and all the bars, they all suck. <-Same goes for forums!

I like the cover  :reading: In case if I get some question about me being mail order bride I am going to reply the way: "Yes, mail order bride. Just you know it took lond to find the post mail box where I would fit"  :innocent:

WO don't worry about insults of RW. Normal people will understand the irony. Stupid people will not understand anything even if you put IMBRA or INS form on the cover.

Of course not! Actually, I think the image is promoting something far more insidious: the idea that RW don't breathe air!

Take a look at the packaging. Do you see any air holes? Is there an oxygen tank in the box? The answer is "no".

After taking some time to examine the image, I think Manny is trying to promote the idea that RW are somehow a superior species and that the Western world will soon be taken over by goregous non-breathing Russian women in miniskirts and thigh-high boots and.... on second thought, would that really be such a bad thing?  :)

We never thought to put air holes in the box! Nor did the photoghrapher!  :D

You probably cant read it on an image this size, but the tape around the bottom of the box says "CAUTION! - Handle with care." - which I thought quite fitting.  :chuckle:

obviously it wasn't' to me. As I said before, at first glimpse I didn't even notice a box, just another slutty thing posing to be a RW

Please, Manny, don't take an offence. I understand that your wife is "in character"

There was no box involved in my relationship.   :P

Hm... I thought there must be at least one box involved?

The one in the application form...

In "Marital status" paragraph  ::)

Actually she is an RW. Most people understand marketing and parody.

If you want to start a "What was the motivation for this?" topic in "Чат на русском языке" I am sure she will answer your questions directly.  :)

so when I'm looking on real postage box with real woman in it I obviously should keep in mind all "boxes" I ticked in my life in all application forms and surely I have no right to say "there was no boxes in my relationship"? Weirdest conclusion I was ever made to come to...  :-\

That would also not be my conclusion. :) I'd say its strange english humor and you have to have a taste for it.
