2 million Palestinian migrants granted right to live in Britain
« on: February 12, 2025, 10:02:25 AM »
Palestinian migrants have been granted the right to live in Britain after applying through a scheme meant for Ukrainian refugees.

A family of six attempting to flee the Gaza strip have been allowed to join their brother in the UK after an immigration judge ruled that the Home Office’s rejection of their application breached their human rights.

The refugees made their initial application through the Ukraine Family Scheme and their case was accepted, despite warnings by lawyers for the Home Office that it could unleash “the admission of all those in conflict zones with family in the UK”.

If this decision becomes law it means not just millions of Palestinians from Gaza will be allowed into the UK but people from any conflict zone anywhere in the world will be allowed into the UK. Potentially that could be tens of millions of people moving to the UK.

Almost all the Palestinians are Muslims and many of the conflict zones in the Middle East such as Lebanon, Iran and Syria involve Muslims the percentage of Muslims in the UK could soar. Muslims might be the majority in the UK in the next few decades?

If you look at Wikipedia's definition of a conflict zone you'll see there are a potential for hundreds of millions of people to be defined as living in a conflict zone. If even a small number of people apply to move to the UK, the UK's population could easily hit a 100 million in a couple of decades.

More untruths and sensationalism from WC.

"A judge made the "wrong decision" in letting a family from Gaza settle in the UK under a Ukrainian refugee scheme, Sir Keir Starmer has said.

The prime minister said the government was working to close a "loophole" that led to the specific case, blaming the legal framework in place under the Conservatives."

2 millions Palestinians aren't headed for UK settlement and Professor WC is wrong again. It does get boring but at least you're not telling us that, Ukraine is the only thing preventing Putin from invading the EU.....

Rosco are you saying that the UK government's appeal has been made and accepted? No you're not. So as of this date it is possible that the judge's decision will be accepted and become a precedent for future cases.
