You only have to do a very few things right in your life so long as you don't do too many things wrong.

Courtesy of Trump, I decided to do some heavy bargain shopping. Risk/reward 'cojones' period. I'm buying hoping this is one of those 'rainy days' mama was talking about...

If I may be so bold to ask, what did you buy?

One thought for people selling right now is why offer discounts when it is going to cost 30-50% more to replace stock.   Once retailers get hit with that, prices are sure to rise or businesses just close up people here start living with a whole lot less stuff.

I bought what I believe, even hope, an opportunity of a well balanced portfolio befitting the events of today. MF/EFTs; various Index Funds, some tech stocks as a result of Foxconn’s Q1 earnings report. A couple of aerospace’s stocks, a little weight on metals, etc..

No crypto. A never for me. Win, lose or draw.

I sank a bit for the little ones’ chest for the long haul. Maybe they all are and will be.

I'm watching a few of the big tech stocks waiting for a point to jump in. Nvidia is at where I planned to buy but I'm wondering how much further it has to go.
Trip Reports: Links to my travels in Russia, Estonia, North Korea, South Korea, China and the US are >>here<<

Look what the American media makes some people believe:
Putin often threatens to strike US with nuclear weapons.

Us-stockmarket this morning was at 5200, they're at 4970 now, still falling fast. I'd wait a bit more.

[edit] : 4930 now ..... wow!!!!

Ha!  We were on different wavelengths; I thought you were buying at the big box stores to get last second deals on housewares before the tariffs hit.   I overbought on tools (to resell) before the likely price increases.
