US President-elect Trump wants to achieve a peaceful and just world in Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, Trump's special envoy for Ukraine, told Fox Business.
"He wants a world that is just, reliable, sustainable," he said, answering a question about how Trump sees the end of the conflict in Ukraine.
Kellogg also said that they are aware of the experience of previous peace processes and Trump has his own thoughts on how to "put an end to this."
Earlier, Trump's special envoy expressed the view that Russia and Ukraine are ready to negotiate an end to the conflict.
He did not rule out that Trump is able to end the Ukrainian conflict by the end of this year.
Reuters, citing sources, reported that Kellogg will visit Kiev and a number of European capitals in early January 2025, "as the new US administration seeks to end the conflict as quickly as possible" in Ukraine.
Commenting on rumors about a possible visit by Kellogg to Moscow, an aide to the Russian President said that there had been no proposals regarding the organization of a meeting.
