Trump to take over Greenland & Panama Canal.

It is going to be an exciting 4 years for sure. Here is what Trump said about Greenland:
For purposes of National Security and Freedom throughout the World, the United States of America feels that the ownership and control of Greenland is an absolute necessity," Trump wrote in a statement
Here is what Trump said about the Panama Canal:
If shipping rates are not lowered, Trump said on Sunday, "we will demand that the Panama Canal be returned to us, in full, quickly and without question".
It could be real, or it could be a negotiating ploy.
Perhaps Trump is signaling Russia you can take Ukraine, and China you can have Taiwan back....but we are taking Greenland & the Panama Canal. Seems the only way to take these places is by military force. We (The US) are in a position where we need to change worldwide dynamics and under Trump the world map may undergo some changes. I wonder if Europe would stand around for this...surely poor little Greenland couldn't stop us from invading them. Panama can't do much either although we would probably unite South America against us...but that is already becoming the case anyway!
Perhaps some people here feel we have every right to conquer these lands. Monroe Doctrine, Roosevelt Corollary, Manifest Destiny...I'm sure we can concoct some justification!

Trump will be able to break up NATO this way...I'm just kidding, the US needs NATO countries to buy our weapons. If NATO countries didn't buy our expensive weapons, they might buy BRIC's members weapons....if they felt they needed more.

Much of what Trumps talks about simply not going to happen. WE have to wait until he is in office to know what he is going to do. I am sure there will be some surprises to just about everyone. Panama Canal going dry and may not have much long-term value anyway. Yes, the USA could really use Greenland but the residents on the island do not have an interested in being a US territory. Very much not likely but maybe we can buy the northern part of the island where no one lives.
