The West's Reluctance to Fight the War in Ukraine - Russia Has the Power to Continue

Russia Has Upgraded Its Status from a Regional Power to a Leader of an Anti-Western Coalition

Western nations are tired of the conflict in Ukraine, while Russia has the power to continue fighting it, argues a Foreign Policy article.

According to its estimates, almost three years after the start of the special military operation in Ukraine, Western countries are tired of the conflict.

Russia is ready for any development of events in Ukraine, said the speaker of the Federation Council of Russia, Valentina Matviyenko, noting that the country has all the appropriate means, including superweapons, to respond to the threats of the West.

" Russia is ready for any development of events in Ukraine, said the speaker of the Federation Council of Russia, Valentina Matviyenko, noting that the country has all the appropriate means, including superweapons, to respond to the threats of the West.
“We have the means, including superweapons, to give a tangible and inevitable response."

"They no longer have the political will to help Kiev win by military means and are trying to achieve peace through negotiations with the Russian Federation," the article points out, which emphasizes that Moscow "continues to mobilize resources with terrifying force" and there is no shortage of ammunition and volunteers willing to go to the front.

Furthermore, the publication states that any peace "agreement would amount to a capitulation of Ukraine and the West to Russia," while noting that economically the Russian Federation has reoriented itself towards the East, increasing trade with China, India and other countries in Asia and the Middle East.

"On %u200B%u200Bthe world stage, Russia has managed to upgrade its status from a regional power to the leader of an anti-Western coalition," Foreign Policy emphasizes.[/size]
