The wolf is back in Europe
« on: July 18, 2024, 01:37:36 PM »
And I don't mean metaphoricly, I mean the beast itself.

Since approximately 2021 we have had to deal with sightings of the wolf sparingly in Netherlands.
2022: Sheep are being massacred by wolves, we now have farmers putting up fences
2023: Wolves are showing themselves to humans
2024: Wolves have attacked/killed domestic dogs (small ones) and attacked a child.

I wonder how long it takes them left-wing idiots before deciding the wolf is bad news and its special forbidden-to-hunt-status is lifted.

I didn't know they had spread that far, but it seems so.

Since the banning of wolf hunting in Poland in the 1990s, the wolf population has been recovering and spreading west. Wolves have successfully established in Germany and reached as far as the Netherlands, Denmark and France.

There were plans to reintroduce them to Scotland, but nothing seems to have come of it.

Look what the American media makes some people believe:
Putin often threatens to strike US with nuclear weapons.

Wolves are not coming back to the wild in Britain in the foreseeable future, because society is not ready. Wolves suffer from a long history of demonisation and myth-making.
Gee I wonder why... perhaps dead children, sheep and dogs have something to do with that.
