Steve Garvey for CA Senate
« on: January 22, 2024, 08:48:22 AM »
The famous Dodger Baseball player Steve Garvey is running for California Senate. While short on specifics he is known for being very good at dealing with the public. In fact he was so popular with baseball fans in Los Angeles that when word got out he was leaving to go to the San Diego Padres girl scouts protested.  :chuckle:

Apparently there is a debate tonight with his demo rat rivals. Good luck Steve!

I watched the debate, the 3 demo rats and the moderator were very anti-Trump and tried to force Garvey to say who he was going to vote for in the Presidential election. He finally simply said that the World was safer when Trump was President. Of course the lunatics were blowing a gasket.

In general I like Garvey but probably would not vote for him if I still lived in California, based on his dumb answer re - the Middle East. Tough choice though because I will likely vote Republican even though Trump gave too many concessions to Israel previously.

Domestic policy is more important to me than what happens over there, at least for now.
