Hell, they were literally calling for his impeachment a day after the election. They could’ve blamed him for starting WW II had they had their way.

What I find really amusing is exporting Mikheil Saakashvili right after the “2014 peaceful protest lined with grandmothers with flowers in the hands” - to Odessa from New York, under US federal payroll, to give him Ukrainian citizenship so he can be its governor, lol (Yup, the US have nothing to do with the coup).

A year later, IINM, he quits because he claimed the politicians were all corrupt and allegedly were Poroshenko’s cronies. Oh the irony!

As karma would have it, the dude is back in Georgia and IINM, is sitting in jail, and Ukraine have a president stupidly willing to sacrifice people and country at the bidding of the almighty dollar.

So now the US is crying foul as intelligence reports that China is about to give lethal aid to Russia. I guess the US (West) believes it is unfair if China does what we (ourselves) are doing in a country halfway around the globe that pose no threat to our society OR politics. Pretty much what we’ve been going in every corner of the globe for close to a millennia.

I've been hearing for a year how ukraines losing,has no troops left.
But the line has receded towards russia.

AJ - if you really believe that maiden was a grass roots revolution and there was no meaningful western interference, then you live on a another planet. Possibly the same or the one next to Tex.

The fact of the matter is, the West has had an unhealthy obsession with turning favour with countries closely linked to Russia and Ukraine was the red line in the sand. Putin has given decades worth of warnings and the west knew what would eventually happen........but went ahead anyway and did it knowing many people would die. Does any of this not make you angry?

You can talk about how wrong Russia are and how bad the war is but please don't be so stupid as to ignore how this war kicked off!

Had the west not dumped tonnes of dollars into Ukraine via chosen partners, or paraded round Kiev talking about new friendships, trained their troops, had US politicians not been caught selecting Ukrainian leaders, had we stopped talking about EU/NATO membership etc.....then none of this would have happened.

Your family in Kharkov would be safe and Ukraine wouldn't be a war zone. Millions wouldn't be dead, blown to bits or living in the EU. But yea just keep telling yourself that this situation is better for everyone and Russia is the only ones to blame.

And not only is Ukraine a mess but there's a global recession kicking into gear which affects pretty much all of us. Ukraine was the ugly fat girlfriend of Russia who nobody cared about except from the bloke (the west) who wanted to shag it just to piss off Russia. Now we're all screwed because some war hawks get their way.....fantastic.
