What Happens if Russia is Humiliated in Ukraine
« on: November 17, 2022, 04:36:28 PM »
What happens to Russia if Russia loses everything in Ukraine? If Russia loses not only the Donbas but also Crimea? If Russia is kicked out of Russia and pushed back to the 1991 borders with Ukraine.

Russia really wants to hold onto Crimea because it needs a warm water port. If Russia is forced to move all its ships and military from Crimea and Ukraine again takes control of Crimea that would be humiliating for Russia. In fact for Russia it would be much worse.

Russia has been acting as a regional policeman for some its former republics from the USSR. Former republics such as Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and others are now viewed by the world as sovereign nations. However they have submitted themselves to policing from Russia when they have grievances with each other. Sometimes these grievances result in all out war with each other killing hundreds on both sides.

There have been a number of instances where the Russian military have moved into former republics and acted as peacekeepers stopping the militaries of former republics from waging war and taking territory from one another.

If the Russian military is humiliated in Ukraine and significantly weakened, will Russia have the military ability to be able to keep its former republics from waging war on each other? Will the former republics respect Russia and abide by Russia decisions.

Will Russia be able to keep republics in Russia, republics such as Chechnya from declaring independence and leaving Russia? Will Russia be able to stop Chechnya from going to war with other regions within Russia and taking over the other regions? Will Russia be able to prevent someone like Chechen leader Ramzan Akhmadovich Kadyrov from staging a coup and taking over Russia?

Perhaps most importantly will Russia be able to protect itself from being invaded by other countries? One of the most obvious is China moving in to take over the Russian Far East.

The link below is a look at what might happen if Russia ends up so miitarily weak from its war in Ukraine that it can't police some of its former republics from going to war.

If Russia loses in a big way, then Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and others will have new leadership, China.
3) There has been no "threat" to invade Ukraine. The US invented that and fed it to a complicit media.

Just check YT or other social media and you'll find many saying the same thing. China doesn't have to conquer them to wield significant influence in these countries.

Many of these countries such as Kyrgyzstan already do a lot of trade with China. If Russia was weakened economically it would be likely that China would move in and build a stronger economic relationship with these countries.

Rosco I see now that it's you that's having problems thinking things through. There's a type of dementia related to alcohol abuse called Alcohol-related 'dementia'.

Incoherent thought processes as demonstrated above and alcohol abuse could be a sign of dementia. Read the link below and please see your health care provider.

I have no problems following Rosco's statements. Takes a bit of higher thinking so if you're not getting it, I'll be happy to dumb it down for you.

If Russia is humiliated is a moot point, cause with so many events of death and destruction noone is thinking Russia did a bad job f*cking up Ukraine. Ergo: Rosco responds with an equally silly statement.

above bolding is mine

No one is thinking Russia did a bad job f*cking up Ukraine? I'm sure Ukraine does. What about Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia? They were part of the USSR and know far more about Russia than you or anyone on RUA.

Then there's Sweden and Finland. They've been neutral for decades. Now due to Russia's actions on invading Ukraine these two former neutral countries have decided to join NATO.

Tell me Markje how can you or anyone on RUA know more about Russia than the officials in these countries?

So you're telling me, (keep digging btw, I am hugely amused) that Russia could have done a better job F*cking up Ukraine than they already did? (And so much better, they'd look like fools in comparison!)

Dear lord, I am glad that didn't happen then as tens of thousands of people died, major damage to people's houses, creature-comfort facilities like warm water, electricity, internet, etc.  Africa almost had a major Famine going until someone decided to talk to Russia (Erdogan of all people, we're really in trouble if guys like him need to give peace a chance). And I'm sure I left out some major events cause all this stuff above is already damning enough.

Mark.

No. The question is even simpler. Why do you and others on RUA think Russia had any right to take over the Donbas and Crimea?

Russia's been condemned by so many countries. Especially countries that were once part of Russia. Why do you and others on RUA think it was OK for Russia to invade Ukraine?

I have no idea about the people in Donbass (apart from 1 or 2 stragglers I know living in Crimea from Donetsk).

But for Crimea its a different story. Russia had no right, but neither did Ukraine. Crimea chose to become Russian , but in reality they'd much rather be their own country.

Russia's been condemned by so many countries. Especially countries that were once part of Russia. Why do you and others on RUA think it was OK for Russia to invade Ukraine?
Russia is wrong in this case, as I have stated many times before.
