Visa from Ukraine to USA
« on: November 09, 2022, 11:02:13 PM »

If Tex is taking care of a lady that moved all the way to Ivano Frankivsk, he should tell her to cross into Poland as a war refugee. A couple of Ukrainian ladies did that and they have a cousin and sister in the Seattle area that bought them tickets to America. If any of you guys have a bride visa being processed for your Ukrainian lady, you may be able to fast track everything by contacting your congressman or embassy over there.

She and her son are living with me in the USA for nearly 5 months now. They are here on a "Uniting for Ukraine" visa. Below is all about this type of visa. It took about thirty days before we got approved to travel to the USA.

On April 21, 2022, the United States announced a key step toward fulfilling President Biden’s commitment to welcome Ukrainians fleeing Russia’s invasion. Uniting for Ukraine provides a pathway for Ukrainian citizens and their immediate family members who are outside the United States to come to the United States and stay temporarily in a two-year period of parole. Ukrainians participating in Uniting for Ukraine must have a supporter in the United States who agrees to provide them with financial support for the duration of their stay in the United States.

The first step in the Uniting for Ukraine process is for the U.S.-based supporter to file a Form I-134, Declaration of Financial Support, with USCIS. The U.S. government will then vet the supporter to ensure that they are able to financially support the individual whom they agree to support.
3) There has been no "threat" to invade Ukraine. The US invented that and fed it to a complicit media.

That's good information to know. But is seems the program is for uniting family members. If you aren't married to the lady, did you have to provide evidence you two plan to marry or can any US citizen take care of a Ukrainian war refugee if they file an I-134? I wonder if other Western nations have a similar program.
Over 220 generals and admirals say we are in a fight for our survival like no other time since 1776. If you want to stop the war in Ukraine, fix elections, stop medical tyranny and forced vaccinations, lower inflation and make America and the world a better place, get Trump back into power. The Democrats and Republicans have shown they can't do the job. They are good at robbing us and getting people killed in non stop wars.

No need for a sponsoring requirement in EU.  UA citizens are free to come, go, and stay longer than visa-free travel limits with few bureaucratic hurdles in most countries.

I only promised to support her for the two-year visa. In Europe there was no such requirement to find a sponsor. Any USA citizen who can show he/she has the means to support the people he is sponsoring. 100,000 visas are available but not all of the were taken. If you are a guy looking to sponsor a girlfriend you do not know well this is a very bad idea.

True but guys are marrying women after only one visit so it's not much of a difference for them except they get to fast track their girls to America and save thousands from having to pay for the k-1 visa processing fees.

Do you mind sharing the sequence of the major events getting to this point? Did you meet before either of you got the idea of using U4U? Did you meet as a result of her looking for a U4U sponsor? Is this a romantic relationship?
