Today, Netherlands remembers operation Market Garden

In 15 minutes, 2000 paratroupers landed on Dutch soil to combat the nazi's and create a forward invasion spot to attack Germany itself.

Operation market garden was one of the first real freedom sites Netherlands acquired during WW-II. The nazi's were defeated, but it came at a high price

That is correct, i was commenting on their speed. Landing 2000 troops per 15 minutes is huge
