This one is more obvious.

Browsing a bit around on that site, reminds me why I never go there. And that also does not inspire confidence that this article is right.

Sorry but it is correct, that Russians may not use the words "war" or "invasion".

Furthermore they are not showing pictures of the destruction caused to Ukrainian cities by Russian bombs.

Manny is so desperate to push Russian propaganda, that he has changed the title I gave to this thread.

Can't have any solid truths coming out about how Russia has been covering this war now can you.

Do you deny that in Russia if you use the words war or invasion in relation to Ukraine that you could get into trouble with the law, Manny?

Here's a story, whereby Russia is claiming that an injured pregnant woman from the Hospital bombing in Mariupol, is really just a blogger.

Just amazing the amount of rubbish you are posting ...... and then you accuse me and other people, like Manny or Mark .... that we post a lot of lies. and propaganda.

Like Mark I also do not visit those crap American sites.

Regarding the Hospital attack in Marioupol .....just heard this morning on the Greek station I listen normaly daily news, earlier, they reveiled the woman  who accussed Russians bombing it and killing a lot of people...... it was a "Model" with a site who said: "The hospital was closed 2-3 weeks prior to the attack because it had no electricity and water."

Just after that interview a young woman , Ukrainian together with a Russian boy told us that they studdy in the Universicty of Salonica, North Greece. They also told us that they are several of them, are all friendly sypportive like a family and in the summer will stay in Greece. and will be accommodated by teh UNIfor free.....in their rooms.

I did not hear that American teams went to Ukraine and provide food to the poor people that the RUSSIANS SHOOT THEM ON A DAILY BASIS.

All I heard is that you are organasing supplies of Guns and othe war staff via Polland.

Please make sure you do not post fake propaganda... I rather watch FOX for enteratainment than reading your posts.

As have previously stated.... all the problems in Ukraine it's down to your Nation......the lovely and hospitable USA.  Already posted historical details......and i have a bunch of photos from Jewish celebration party in KIev with G. Payat and victoria Nulan...... before the operation and Coup de'tat in Feb 2014.

Now get out of bed and go to the park to get some fresh air!
and don't waxpect a reply soon as I have shopping to do for teh w/end.

BTW watch teh Dollar today......

I noticed that the link COntrarian shared does not bother to share the words and context that Lavrov used when he supposedly claimed Ukraine had not been invaded.

Had his words in the context they were given, supported the claim in the article then the words would have been quoted. Their absence should be instructive. What we do know is that the Russians have said this operation is not designed to overthrow the current regime and that the Russians have no intention of taking over and remaining in the country. Of course, events may change that, but as far as we know, that is still the intent.
...everything ends always well; if it’s still bad, then it’s not the end!

Wiz, I've been watching you tell me to watch the dollar for 10 or  20 years.

  :money:

I laid a dollar on the table then , and I've been pateintly watching and watching , it still hasn't done one single trick?

Maybe I need to flip it over? Fold it a certain way?
Is there some secret to getting it to do something?

To your point, in.that time  the markets gone up,gone down, gone sideways, and certainly expect in times of high unrest in the world ,the dollar may go down against various currencies, up against others. You play in that market.and  know this well.
But not once has your claims of its impending demise been accurate, but keep.at it !!
you'll eventually be correct.!
Oh joy joy you'll have.! Yeah!.

I don't need to watch the rouble, it's doing as poorly as expected.

I take zero joy in seeing that.

I have zero idea if sanctions  will help at all.in bringing this conflict to a settlement
I recognize its a financial  tool to try and leverage one.

Perhaps Russia could have used financial support to.Ukraine all.this time , they may have stayed in the fold happily

I dont have the answers,i do refuse to take glee in the misery of others.

As far as I've seen today the dollars up half a percent .
 But do not fret!
our inflation which was already headed up big time, will increase.
Likely beyond past levels. That is something to truly make you giddy no?

If so, its doubtful my business could survive.
It sure as hell wouldn't in Russia right now.

Rah rah  rah go world leaders fight  fight ! Pick a side ,doesn't matter any side.  Do so by  your favorite color even.
Get your popcorn and cheer them on as they let other people die for thier stupidity.

He's the Russian Military Analyst for Novaya Gazetta in Moscow.

He says the Russian Military is running out of reserves fast, and their bombing of cities is a sign of increasing desperation.

( You know... we're shit at fighting soldiers so lets bomb some civvies instead because we're good at that )

Anyway, back to what he said on Sky News today, and he said that allied to the economic meltdown in Russia   the war will drag on , and by the fall Russia and Putin will be in a desperate situation .

As normal i used my eyes and ears to watch and listen.
"I find it hard to believe that Russia would target civilians on purpose " Manny 28/2/22

Arnold says no.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/arnold-schwarzenegger-delivers-message-to-russian-people-ukraine-did-not-start-this-war/ar-AAVcfen

Quote

"You see, Ukraine did not start this war. Neither did nationalists or Nazis. Those in power in the Kremlin started this war. This is not the Russian people's war."

Schwarzenegger talked about the United Nations vote in which 141 countries condemned Russia for starting the war and demanded the and withdrawal of Russian forces from Ukraine. Only four countries sided with Russia.

"The world has turned against Russia because of its actions in Ukraine," said Schwarzenegger, who showed video footage of a bombed orphanage, hospital maternity ward and displaced refugees — 3 million and counting."

Wiz, I've been watching you tell me to watch the dollar for 10 or  20 years. :money:
As you must have noticed I just point out comments of your specialists for you to read... and I only watch...... nor telling you to invest or not!

Regarding the History of the ex USSR and now RF and Ukraina   it is well known fact that Ukraina was one off the "Border Lands" parts of the USSR and only became independent after the collapse of the USSR in 1991 but both parts continue behaving like they were one country......until the USA decided to put it's nose , started the Orange revolution and spent $ 5 Billion (see video and statement of V. Nulan) and installed its own protegee Yushenka who was married to an American woman. After his failures and also of all of those followed teh people of Ukraine voted for Yanukovits, one of their Own good boys from Donbass, (Pro Russian) ....... which in 2014 you made a move to replace him, so at the end he had to run for his life! Very soon Russia moved and all Russians licing in Crimea votes to joine their mother land.....with their passpoerts.

As we know V. Yanukovych has been quiet and probably has been trained by the Russians how to run the country on their own lines.

Wiz, I've been watching you tell me to watch the dollar for 10 or  20 years. :money:
I laid a dollar on the table then , and I've been pateintly watching and watching , it still hasn't done one single trick?

Keep looking as we don't know when it will start going down hill  most probably will be a Friday ..... when that happens ...........At the moment you are looking to buy OIL from Maduro  ...who told you to FO  , I just wonder if the Russians have installed some rockets in Maduro land  ??? .... Then you moved to the Arabian Peninsula and yet nobody offered you any oil, as China has already bought every free available production for years..... and soon you will ask Iran or propably have done already, who will or have told you to remove all sanctions you have imposed to them.... just waiting to hear the results of your negociations  ???

As about me....I am enjoyining my retirement with a Russian woman, don't need millions to survive..... now travel is open to me again, without to have been vaccinated, Greece is desperate for my custom.....and they still have plenty of sun, beatifull places and beaches and good food to eat and don't care for big money, despite the price increses.

Finally I just heard that Russia has paid their Loan to IMF in DOLLARS.....via a friendly American Bank......J.P. Morgan   So what the US sanctions are doing against Russia?  As a British comedian was saying.... NOT A LOT!

Regarding the Markets.... Yes I have enough to invest, if I wanted to have a daily headache but at 77 yrs I prefer to have peace in my life...... wife has already invested enough for her UK pension.....

Wish you all the best ...

Looks like Russia is using troops from South Ossetia as cannon fodder. Only 30% of the tanks worked, artillery mortar didn't work and there was no command staff or the command staff hid.

If this is an example of the Russian military NATO doesn't have anything to fear from the conventional Russian military.
