This is a link to a Married Lady who is staying (hiding) with a lady friend and her child while their husbands are out fighting the Russians who have encircled Kherson so Inna can't even get out to her parents village, has no car and now no money to travel ... reminds me of the Yoguslavia Genocide wars... explosions happened outside her window at the end of the interview with Conor Clyne when she had cut short to go to the basement as a bomb shelter though we know basements tend to get caved-in so not bloody ideal.

So the problem is when I tried two different Visa and one Mastercard all triggered "Fraud prevention protocols" which I had to verify that I authorized the transactions and others...  to get my cards turned back on - there has to be a way to use MoneyGram or PayPal and not get my cards turned off for fraud prevention - seems the damned USA Banks can't tell the difference between Russia (Sanctioned) and Ukraine being blown to smithereens...   

Any advice on how to help this lady and others out in UA now that all of Ukraine is a war zone and the USA has ordered all US Citizens oot of Russia as a NO-GO Zone - Manny seems to like TransferWise to Send GBP or EUROS not too sure about dollars with all the draconian sanctions appears to overlap into Ukraine (WTF) and I am tired of my cards being temp frozen by Fraud Detection Protocols!!!

I noticed there are food banks being set up in Kiev and elsewhere right now. This might be one option. The Ukrainian authorities and volunteer organizations are doing their best to get food and water to people who need it.

I also have had massive problems with Australian Banks freezing my transfers to Ukraine this past week. I have spent around 6 hours of phone calls over the 7 days progressively getting individual accounts unblocked and transfers moving.   ing Banks just immediately blocked both Russia and Ukraine initially, and now it's a case of answer online questions, wait for "secure emails", and answer new questions, Get pissed off, call 3 times, provide proof of relationship and intimate questions, finally transfers actioned a week after they were needed.

Not wishing to antagonise anyone with this, but consideration/care should be the order of the day..

ATM's in many places in E Ukraine are empty and not being replenished..
Banks are restricting opening hours/business, with many/all banks in E Ukraine not opening at all..
Much of banks cash/other currencies was withdrawn to Kiev early last week, for safety, leaving many of them without large quantities of cash..
It is doubtful if money sent to a card in Ukraine could be withdrawn at this time..
As a by note, much of Ukraine's foreign currency was collected together and removed from the country 2 weeks ago..
This I have been informed of by various sources, and when thinking about it, it seems to make sense..

Kharkov and Mariupol have nothing working at this time, Banks nor ATM's, and I suspect the Kherson would be similarly affected..

Over night some of our very close family friends in Zaporozhe who we meet 3 or 4 times a year both in Ukraine and the UK and only 5Km from the nuclear power plant are now in a perilous situation, we have been talking to their daughter this morning over here in the UK and she has a lot of family in that area, she is crying her eyes out. So, forgive me if this takes a bit longer than anticipated to try and work out as I have other things on my mind currently and have to wait for others to try and work things out.
