I have never been to Kharkov but I have been around to the rest of Ukraine several times.....and I deliberty choose to watch the LIVE REUTERS Camera because it is at the Centre of Kiev and at the top of the hotel Ukraina looking down at Maidan square, where is the usual place that people will go for a walk or shoping or to demostrate.

For your info I have been around in alll main towns and cities like Lvov, Kiev, Odessa, and everywhere in Crimea. Just because I live here, I am not obligated to watch BBC or Sky....  I listen to LBC and several channels from abroad, mostly from Greece.

It is pretty obvious that Putin has given specific orders not to attack, electric, water TV or Raadio aparatus. Well soon will see what really happened. Today is 2022 and not the 2014-15 when the killigs by the foreign agents took place and look at the resulds........

My wife has just spoken with her father who lives in Kharkov, and he confirmed that shelling with probably Grad rockets had been going on today.
He also said that there is no food left in the shops, nor is there any fresh milk and bread available..

You can continue to reserve judgment.  SIL was in a shelter for a couple of nights, given the level of bombing occurring in her neighbourhood.  There, she spoke to a woman whose apartment building was hit by a missile.

This is the real face of war.  It's not the botoxed/filler filled face of a 70 year old tyrant cowering in a mountain hideout.  It's blood and death and suffering.  To deny it is cruel.

This from their UN Ambassador to the UN at the Special session of the UN General assembly which had to be called because Russia vetoed their own censure by the Security Council.

I do not personally agree with the invasion.. If I was Putin I would of just let them have Ukraine (Eu) but I would of built nukes all around the country completely.. and used that at the negotiating table for arms control.. Would of been a better plan.. I think invading was not a good idea ..

But Im surprised about the amount of hate now towards Russians this will never change.. its here for ever.. wife mom lives in Germany they are smashing windows on a few Russain shops now..What the **** is there a need for this ..

Amnesty International accused Russia of using the vacuum bombs, or thermobaric weapons, to attack a preschool in northeastern Ukraine while civilians took shelter inside. While CNN reported that one of its teams had spotted a Russian thermobaric multiple rocket launcher near the Ukrainian border early on Saturday afternoon.

It will not take much more of this and Putin will no longer be an effective leader as he will be wanted for war crimes and not invited to enough countries to be able to carry out state business.

I cant comment on this incident as I haven't seen anything about it. But this stood out.

BBC and Sky News instead of watching that RT tripe.

I'd suggest BBC and Sky are the last place one might look for *actual* news or reliable coverage of events. The whole British media put any Russian channel to shame with their lying, fake photos and uncorroborated 'news events'. I've seen the BBC busted today lying with fake photos. One news channel today put out a nine-year-old video of a little Palestinian girl screaming at an Israeli soldier and tried to pass it off as an event in Ukraine. GB News and Talk Radio the other day published a short video of a Ukrainian missile launcher losing control and rolling over a car and tried to pass it off as a Russian tank that did it on purpose. Pictures of Zelensky being the "people's man" passed off as recent are actually bought from Getty and are not recent.

I had a similar exchange of views today with the Defence Editor at the Express. He even thinks numbers that come from "official Ukrainian sources" are reliable. He claimed Russia was "losing" before admitting they were actually being quite restrained compared to what they could do. 

Better to graze a variety of outlets, including RT, Sputnik et al and see if you can sift the truth from therein. The truth often lies somewhere in the middle.

I find it hard to believe that Russia would target civilians on purpose.

Russia deliberately targeted civilians in Kharkov again today...a cruise missile was fired into the city's regional government building at Freedom Square all shown on film on BBC again...other missiles hit other parts of the civilian population...including illegal cluster bombs.

Maybe if you stopped gawking at the Russian state-sponsored RT drivel and started watching real news you might understand what is actually going on in Ukraine.

Now all the World sees what atrocities Russia is committing in Ukraine.

Some people for some reason deliberately have no memory when conviniently forget what took place in Kiev on 20 Feb 2014 during the Coup d'état, organised by USA where 50 people were shot dead by snipers. I don't remember anybody arrested or went to prison. May I remind you that I  posted a video of the US Minister Victoria Nulan who admited that the USA spent 5 Bilion dollars and together with Mr G. Payat the Ambassandor and organised the demostrations and when the legally elected President run for hid life, they imposed their own President. Do you remember the MINSK agreements which signed by Poroshenko and Zelenskyy but never were acted to stop Azov Nazzi fighters killing innocent children and people in Donbass?

Earlier you accuse me why Idon't watch BBC or ITV and answered to you that I am not prepared to listen Propaganda and I do listen to LBC with more variate views.!

RT was banned from our Democracy and also Russian studens too from the whole Europe, under orders from our Master the Alzheimer's President and I can't wach any programes so I stick to Greek and other foreign sources, not Russian because I don't speack the language.

Stop being a stooge, Wiz.  Also stop with the whataboutism.  My SIL is sitting in the middle of bombing.  She can get through to us only intermittently.  She knows a family shot dead by Russian forces, while trying to flee the city.  Parents and 12 year old dead, two children alive but gravely injured in hospital.  Oh, she doesn't have a photo!  It must not have happened! 

You can continue to reserve judgment.  SIL was in a shelter for a couple of nights, given the level of bombing occurring in her neighbourhood.  There, she spoke to a woman whose apartment building was hit by a missile.

This is the real face of war.  It's not the botoxed/filler filled face of a 70 year old tyrant cowering in a mountain hideout.  It's blood and death and suffering.  To deny it is cruel.

Murdering civilians in cold blood like this is despicable. Just who are the "Nazi's"?

Putin has completely lost his mind. As the Ukrainian Ambassador says, if he wants to commit suicide, he should just shoot himself.

 

Putins had the unfortunate experience of alleged cancer surgery and a dose of Parkinsons. I wonder if any of this is related to a potential terminal health battle and him willing to go out with a bang?

Indeed.

Unfortunately, while Putin will get his comeuppance sooner or later, the Russian people are going to suffer enormously as a result of his actions and of the political elite.

Mrs Rosco recently started a new job working for a global business, selling/marketing from the UK into the Russian market. She's devastated for both what's happening to Ukrainians, Belarusians and Russians but she's also gutted about her career too. Her parents in Belarus feel the whole thing is blown out of proportion and she's fallen out with them too!

She had a girl working under her for presentations who's Ukrainian living in London, and she's refused to deal with Russian customers at the moment. The wifes a bit too green to go it alone and the whole thing has turned into a nightmare.

Im sure it'll pass and Russia will reopen for business but right now anything Russian is being cancelled. The Russian ballet in Edinburgh has been pulled too....
