Moldova trip with a Siberian that's not husky
« on: February 02, 2022, 10:50:19 AM »
In light of my perception of the tension in Eastern Europe, I decided to take a recon trip to Moldova to see if it might be a viable place to wait out an armed conflict. I flew a Siberian girl to meet me. She's super cool and it's been a very fun few days. I drove my car here with my dog. Crossing the border took 3.5 hours because I didn't have my dog's documents in order. I got to pay a $40 tip to the official to lube the beurocratic machinery.

I don't think he had a good time. She was wearing too many clothes.
Over 220 generals and admirals say we are in a fight for our survival like no other time since 1776. If you want to stop the war in Ukraine, fix elections, stop medical tyranny and forced vaccinations, lower inflation and make America and the world a better place, get Trump back into power. The Democrats and Republicans have shown they can't do the job. They are good at robbing us and getting people killed in non stop wars.

Great photo, nice body. How DO you continue to line these babes up?

What service do you use, and are you able to write a bit in Russian or do you contact them in English?

You're saying that, because you are a woman.

….or you are a blind man.
He presented to her a sensitive story, bought this underwear to her and a plain ticket.
That’s why this naive girl agreed to pose.
Notice, he asked her to take a picture. Very smart dude!.
The small pink suitcase in a background is supposed to belong to a lady.
But women do not need a set of savers for a short trip and never keep them separately from other multiple hygiene products.
Of course, they do not need a white rope from that suitcase.
The picture is uploaded on a controversial ibb.co. He is making money.
Relax, Contrarian.
You are lonely but not that sort of guy.

Sorry but what are "savers for s short trip". Also what do you mean by a "white rope"?

And it could be that it was her idea to upload the photo to that website. Many young women are into that.

Notice, she is the one holding her camera and taking a photo.

No, that's not my style, to post photos like that.

And I don't think you understood my comment, which is that men are probably more willing to have complicated adventures.

This girl is very hot. She turned 27 a week ago. It's not all positive, as she is a heavy smoker, for example. She's also a personal trainer, which I find somewhat ironic, and has amazing muscle tone.  Although it might seem like I can find an endless supply of girls like this, that's far from the case. I really don't feel very successful. I'd rather tell you about the site where I met her by PM. I think I know about 400 words in Russian, mostly nouns. I'm just starting to learn to put together sentences. I know красивая девушка 👸🏻
One of my biggest frustrations is buying stuff for my project. I know колесо, диск, болт, инструмент, бензин and some others. Увас эсть болти? I think thats do you have bolts. But I see there are some errors  according to spell check.

Wait until they start talking to you in Russian. :chuckle:

Your phone's translator (download google translate if you haven't already) should have a microphone you can talk into and will at least get your point across. Use it, it can be quite handy.

Better to learn phrases than single words because the cases change the beginning and endings of words depending on how your using the word, which change the sound of the word you're trying to understand. That will drive you crazy for sure.

Keep it up and speak (and more importantly, listen) as much and as often as possible. Active learning will increase your level 10x faster than passive learning.

Justadude, I don't know if you are already doing this, but I think not:

When you use written communication with anyone, whether they are targets for your porky soldier, tradespeople or suppliers - anyone. Don't try to use Russian alone. You'll lose out every time by doing so.

What I do is write in the target language, generally using Google Translate and then below I append the same message in English.

When you do this, you signal to the recipient that you do not have fluent Russian/French/Finnish/Whatever but you're making an effort. The recipient can then reply in whatever form they prefer. If they use English, then it is likely that their English will be better than your Russian/etc. and you can probably manage quite well.

Especially in porky soldier targeting, if you only use the local language you will end up with people who do not speak much, if any, English and you'll both be wasting your time. Nothing sadder than having a great convo in Rusian with some hot bint, all conducted via Google Translate, and then meeting up someplace, face to face and after you say your ten words in Russian being unable to communicate. That might be OK with hookers as conversation is likely not top of the list and all you need to to be able to say a few words, no sentences needed. But it ain't much fun for more normal meetings.
...everything ends always well; if it’s still bad, then it’s not the end!

Yes she is definitely very attractive. You better keep her while you have the chance! You can always convince her to cut back or quit the smoking. She knows it isn't healthy, especially as a personal trainer.

If you don't make it permanent with one of these gals, you'll end up alone when you're older.

Nobody knows when the great girl they're with is their last chance at romance. At least you have a couple of dogs.

But if you ask me having a loving partner for life is all the better.  :coffeeread:

You're absolutely right about everything. If I was smart I would do whatever I could to make it work with her. But I'm not very smart. I want to see her again, but I am fairly certain that I will get uncomfortable and want out if it goes on. As it now stands, I've burned a couple of months of her life and she could move on. If it goes to 6 months, which seems to be the practical limit of my relationships, then I might call it a year of her late 20s that I've wasted, as it takes time to get over a past relationship and find another.

In my opinion 28 is significantly different than 27 for one of these girls and their prospects of finding a life partner. As I understand it, this girl wants to get married. That doesn't necessarily mean she wants to marry me, but I don't think she takes a recreational approach to meeting men.

Having said all of this, I'm mulling over what my next move will be. Maybe I'll invite her to Ukraine for a visit. I am 1/3 of the way through another master's degree here. I'm also teaching at 2 universities. Classes start back up in a week. If I leave that all goes away, so going to Russia or another country right now has it's drawbacks, although a one week vacation is possible I suppose.

At the same time I've got my ear to the ground regarding a possible armed conflict. Right now I want to stay until one actually starts. I'm hoping that driving west to Romania, Moldova or Poland is possible at that point and that a border crossing, as a refugee, is possible with my dog. Then there is my scooter project and all my tools. Obviously not worth dying over, but a concern.

I'm hoping that I change and can settle down with one woman. Otherwise a lonely death likely awaits. Sorry to go all dark on ya))

What is the likelihood of war in Ukraine in your educated and on the ground opinion?

Justadude, you know your behaviour pattern, it is under your control.

Think of it as I do with weight loss dieting.

1) Dieting won't work unless I have the motivation to do so. So, unless I have a choice and good reason to do so, any attempt will fail in short order.
2) When I have the motivation, I must change my behaviour pattern.
3) I make different choices about what I eat and how I eat. I already know what I need to do, and so do you!
4) When I am losing weight, I must resist the temptation to behave in ways that will lead to failure. Without going into unnecessary details, it boils down to stuff like: avoiding the temptation to open the refrigerator door - just because I am bored. Or stop picking up packs of cookies when I go shopping.

This is under my/your control. Don't fall back on the excuse of 'I am a failure' or diets don't work. Just reject the behaviours and activities that lead you into the easy path of failure. You do not have to be perfect, you just have to be better!
...everything ends always well; if it’s still bad, then it’s not the end!

For some reason I thought you had two dogs. Did you originally have two dogs? Did one of them pass on?

Hopefully you aren't still insisting on a vegan diet for your dog. Dogs need meat!

This is the only advice I can offer to you. Other than that you are on your own.  :coffeeread:

I gave one of my dogs away. In fact, I paid a girl $200 to take her and not tell me what happened, although my understanding is that her uncles family took her. About a week later I came down with ulcerative colitis and stayed in the hospital 5 days. I think it was karma. I was unsuccessful at potty training her and she would bark and nip at guests. I'm a horrible person. I feel really guilty and it was a very difficult thing to do but I don't regret it.  More reasons to dislike me for those who already do. At least she's eating meat now, unlike my other fog who is still a vegetarian. Although it's a popular reaction to say dogs need meat, I have empirical evedinene that suggests otherwise.

Do you have a dog? If so, what kind? Are wonder how many other dog owners are here.
