Accessible travel within Russia

It is well known that Russia is not (Or was not) well known for accessible travel making it very hard for wheelchair users to visit the country. BUT things are changing fast.

Russia is already a major tourist destination which is set to grow hugely with the relaxing of the visa regime for most countries..

I think they give a 3 year private visa for US guys ?

I just looked at the Russian Embassy website.  U.S. citizens still need hotel reservation number and dates of entry for 3 year tourist visa.  I find it interesting that I guess I’m supposed to make hotel reservations 3 years in advance in order to do it.  Does not sound very easy.

You only need hotel reservations for entry. After that, you can go where you want.

Not sure of your question.  As a US citizen with a family member that has a Russian internal visa can get a private visa which does not require hotel dates etc.

plus there are other advantages such as duration of stay.

Never said I was married to a Russian.  As a matter of fact am married to a Ukrainian.
