Just a flying visit to let you chaps know that we lost STE at the weekend

Nadia, his RU partner and 5 kids will be devastated.. He was just 60

Politically, I had v.little is common with him, but he was v.intelligent and had a quirky SoH

He will be sadly missed

Oh, I see. Well my condolences still stand. I certainly didn't agree with Ste's politics, but I'm sorry to hear that we lost him. Man, a lot of people are dying in their 60's these days... sad to see.

Actually, they made a point of ensuring she ( N) could be registered as a  partner and based their application for her UK residency on this status ..it was not the easy route

 STE was the chap who introduced me to the Freedom of Movement Directive ..

About a month ago, I'm remember saying to myself, "I wonder what happened to STE, I haven't seen a post from him in a while?".

A might proper poster with a very "brit" sense of humour. I too, didn't always agree with his views, but welcomed his POV nevertheless. We are not here to agree though, but to have discussions on things that need to be talked about.

Sad news indeed.

Sorry to hear the bad news about STE, an old acquaintance and very likeable character in person.

I met STE, in person, some years ago, had a pub lunch and he advised me how to use the Freedom of Movement EU Directive 2004, which I used to  bring my wife to UK and on the way I save a lot of trouble and lot's of money....... unlike some....!

Sad New indeed.

Ste wasn't short of money. He was a good tech and very well paid for it.

His politics were quite opposite to mine similar to what others have said.

We met Ste and Nadia quite a few times. He was a good bloke. I recall he had a heart condition. 60 is young to go though. RIP Ste.
