Buying the biz for just $7 per client is not huge. Half or more of the 'active monthly members' are not even spending any money.

Dil Mil, specialising in the South Asian market was acquired by the same holding company and seems to have paid them $18 per active member.

Value is relative. It's the whole numbers thing again, eh?

Oh, yes, there's lots of stuff to be done with the data. The business will have been purchased knowing that and, I am sure new owners have an established plan that they will follow.

The point I was making was that the valuation is actually not very high. Yes, it looks like a lot of money (and I would be happy to retreat to my Pacific island with hot and cold running sexy beauties to look after me in my dotage with that kind of money) but I am sure that the owners of Dil Mil are, relatively speaking, happier with the valuation of their business than the owners of the Cupid group. Of course, Cupid Groups previous owners may be happy to be finished with dealing with the business.

I used Russian Cupid for the first time this year. Surprisingly it was decent. However the gold standard to me is still Mamba. I tried Elena’s models over a decade ago. I have tinder gold so I can try swiping in different cities but Mamba takes the cake. Well designed app and unbelievable amounts of women. Those men living in Moscow and St. Petersburg you guys have got it good !

That used to be the gold standard for men. For women, most the guys contacted them were perverted. If you were a decent guy and know how to talk to women, you could get lots of dates there. Mamba started going downhill when they started charging people money and didn't pay attention to ridding all the fake profiles on the site.

They never told the girls that they were selling their private phone numbers , they just thought they needed to give their number so admin could call them to verify the account, when actually admin included the phone number in contact details, those days women did not really care.. Today you could bet most would sue them, probably why they are nearly defunct now..

I used that site for a few years sent text after text to hundreds of girls and met plenty from there also in Moscow, Strippers, hookers, nice girls the lot..

I've had a lot of success with Bride.ru which I signed up for over a decade ago. I checked their site and it's slow there. They once advertised on Mamba everyday which is geared for local dating. I don't think they're advertising anywhere right now so probably one reason they aren't getting much women to sign up.

Some women didn't reply to my emails so I called them. Almost all were happy to hear my voice. Some guys would probably think it's rude to call out of the blue but I recommended it to a guy who wasn't getting an email reply and he ended up getting married to the girl. Girls get jaded within weeks or months do to emails/messages from perverts to they quit reading them. The phone number was the sure way to get a hold of them.

Any recent thoughts re: RussianCupid (or others) dating sites? I am specifically looking for non-Ukraine/non Russian folks.  Trying to avoid the current issues. Belarus is about top of my list.

They are going to screw over a ton of Buds and Hanks.
Wasn't there a big lawsuit against ADate few years back? 
I thought that there was a chance that they got exposed
for what they are. Looks like they are none the worse for

Over 20 years ago I contacted a woman via the above, her address was in fact free. I wrote a long hand written letter, it was infact the only hand written letter between the almost 100 e.Mails. Louiza was divorced with a son and lived and worked in Siberia. Most likely I made every mistake one can make. In the end the relationship ended due in fact to my fault.
