Masks do not work for pathogens unless you are wearing a respirator which can only provide that limited protection you speak of. If you are breathing, you are collecting all the pathogens around you. The masks that folks are wearing and have been mandated are useless. Where there are droplets there is also mist. Masks do not work for protection from covid, never have. The world has been brain f*cked with an idea of panic and a mask and vaccine as a savior.

Surgeons and their teams always wear masks during surgery. Mask can stop most pathogens which include bacteria from getting through and infecting a patient that has been opened up. We don't breathe, cough or sneeze viruses or bacteria. The will ride on the tiny water droplets that we exhale, sneeze, or cough. Masks can stop the larger water droplets.

Masks that provide limited protection and a change in behavior has nearly wiped out last years flu. COVID is tougher to beat but there are signs the overwhelming majority of people can beat it and acquire natural immunity. It's the old and sick folks that need the most protection.

As for Dr. Fauci he is interesting, he was an early researcher in HIV/AIDS and during this time there were numerous critics of his work. He has been proven right with hindsight.

It is worth noting he was largely responsible in preventing ELBOLA from becoming a worldwide virus. Actively involving the US military to contain the outbreak in Africa.

As a guess he felt COVID could be managed much like SARS and EBOLA outbreaks, sadly he was wrong.

It depends upon what you buy. The masks I am using are what would usually be described as surgical masks. They are, over here in the civilised world the most commonly used form and, from what I have seen, even over there are very commonly used.

Please try to learn stuff. Basing an argument upon incorrect facts just makes one look like a monkey. I am sure that even you can do better. There's enough bad stuff connected to the covid-19 pandemic. We don't need your fantasy based fright fiction, that merely serves as a mask and distraction for many real issues.

A lot of people lost confidence in Fauci. If Fauci really cares about people's health, he would resign and his replacement should be someone that the public has confidence in. If Biden really cares about people's health, he would fire Fauci and replace him with someone the public has confidence in. Fauci made his money and would get a nice pension so he's not hurting. Keeping him on the job isn't more important than people's health.

 Here's an April, 2020 email where Fauci was told American money went to Wuhan for bat sampling work. While the media was ridiculing Trump and Pompeo last year for claiming the virus came from a lab and they don't listen to scientists, Fauci stayed silent. He needs to be fired. Any scientist that said the virus was natural and no way could have been made in a lab is an idiot or purposely engaged in propaganda.

I have not wear Mask since it all started..... because I am excepted as I have COPD.

Meanwhile I have travelled to Cyprus last year in February, Corfu in August and Kos in October......... together with my wife and the only think to do was to have a PCR test before travelling.........

Nowhere I was asked to wear a mask, after reading my badge ...........except the other day when I went to the Tesco supermarket and a nice youngish woman asked me why I don't wear one to which I replied:

"Because you wear one to protect me..  and thank you for your effort and consideration."

Must admit she had a nice backside and legs...... in her reply! 

Not wearing a mask has not stopped me going around my daily life......shops etc.

Visiting the sea side towns and eating outside Al fresco......has been a pleasure!

PS: MY Wife has done both vaccines but that does not exempt her from the travelling rules and test imposed by our Government together with the additional £ 200 cost for the tests......and home quarantine.
