Germany's new Lithium deposit

I thought this might be interest to people here as this could be a big help to Germany going forward. I hope it works out for them.

Unfortunately I can not find any independent confirmation of this find. The extraction though seems problematic.
But there is this 'find' in the United States that seems workable. There are a number of reports regarding this deposit.

AvHdB, Vulcan is real, lithium in brine is real and so are the deposits in Germany. Du Pont is working with Vulcan to bring the deposits into production.
Conceptually, extraction of lithium from brine is cleaner and less destructive than conventional mining which is dirty and destructive.
Given that brine is a highly concentrated solution in water of salt the extraction process does not require extensive ground clearance and has the added benefit of adding to the geothermal energy portfolio of the producer and thus Germany. As long as the production can scale cost effectively it seems to be a win/win for the companies and country.
