I thought this little site was rather funny. Imagine being such an airhead who writes ratings like this.

Very funny, but sad that there are so many arrogant and challenged tourists.

I was thinking pretty much the same thing.

And I was shocked that people like that exist.

Then again we have people who visit this forum who voted for Biden.  ;D

That was quite entertaining to read.
Shows you just how stupid people really are.

Those people also shop online.

Someone should write a similar one about reasons people return stuff on Amazon.

A bloke recently left me a bad review as the handle on a screwdriver wasn't as soft as he had imagined by looking at a picture. Some of them make similarly absurd statements like those travellers.

On travel, fans of Fawlty Towers will remember this one:

Trip Reports: Links to my travels in Russia, Estonia, North Korea, South Korea, China and the US are >>here<<

Look what the American media makes some people believe:
Putin often threatens to strike US with nuclear weapons.

People travel for the same reasons they sit at cafés. Some like the coffee. Some like the price. Some want to watch people. Some want people to watch them.

One such absurd expectation was that one could endure hours of consecutive flights. It was beyond me. It becomes even more absurd when you realize that the road to the destination was better than the destination itself.

That's a bit cryptic. Why not elaborate?

One such absurd expectation was that one could endure hours of consecutive flights. It was beyond me. It becomes even more absurd when you realize that the road to the destination was better than the destination itself. That's why I often choose to travel by train rather than by plane. To be able to sleep in a comfortable bed and have time to contemplate the scenic views from the window while driving to the destination. If you have been thinking about such trips, https://www.dbfahrplan.com/de/ can help you match your travel dates. The atmosphere in the carriage is reminiscent of a movie. The rhythmic clatter of the wheels, the comfort, the conversation at the window, behind which the scenery sweeps. It's impossible to put it into words. You have to feel it all. How do you like this idea?

Ouch!

Several times I went with the Étoile du Nord, Amsterdam > Paris. It was very civilized. The TGV (Thalys latter on) was also great and faster than a car or plane. In the early years you had to drive to Arras and than by train to Paris.

Now everything is mundane.

I’ve heard most of the nasty stories about Belarus :sick0002: being tailed and rousted by the secret police and suspicious faces everywhere. I went anyway. I had trouble trying to find the hotel so I asked two police officers who were taking a break, just shooting the breeze inside their squad car. They opened the back door and let me in then drove me straight to my hotel with a smile and handshake. The only thing negative I can say is that I bought a pair of sandals that were of very poor quality and I ended up throwing them away still new.
