Parler gets help from Russian Tech Company
« on: January 21, 2021, 01:09:44 AM »
Naturally the usual suspects are screeching that this tech company helps "far right extremists".

You mean as opposed to the radical left-wing extremists still hosted on Farce book and Twattery?

That's crazy stuff!

DD-dos Guard is merely hosting the 'coming soon' placeholder page.

The company seems to be a UK business. Their business is not hosting but protecting sites from denial of service attacks which is not even an issue for Parler right now.

Even sources quoted in support of the headline claims say that they cannot support the headline claims.

Of course, while mentioning that the Russian government can monitor traffic across Russian based servers, the USAian propagandists neglect to mention that ALL traffic crossing US based servers is monitored as a matter of course. This creates an invalid comparison that is not even applicable in this case.

That noted, it seems quite likely that businesses driven from the United States by censorship will find their way to environments that are less censorious than the USA. That may well lead to such businesses being blocked in the USA. The slippery slope is becoming more slippery and more apparent.

How long before we see the erection of the Great USAian Firewall?

...everything ends always well; if it’s still bad, then it’s not the end!

They'll all start using VPNs like the Chinese do.

Look what the American media makes some people believe:
Putin often threatens to strike US with nuclear weapons.

Speaking of internet censorship, British Telecom blocks that site. I turned on my VPN and up it came.

Bloody BT nanny state.  :fighting0025:

On EU censorship

https://www.veteranstoday.com/2019/03/26/europe-israel-kills-internet-news-and-freedom-in-fake-copyright-law/

Thank god we've left the EU. Its stuff like that that helped us to leave. No one issue is big enough but we had decades of drip drip EU rules like that.

Russia could have a big opportunity for hosting sites in a free country in the future. I'd happily move this site there if rules prevented links and normal stuff the internet is made from. We had to move out of the US a few years ago because of silly stuff. I won't implement the silly "agree to this, that, cookies, etc" pop up bullshit EU sites are festooned with. I'd move hosting first.

Russia potentially spying on internet traffic in Russia, BAD.

But elite Israeli Mossad units spying on American internet traffic from Israel, GOOD.

What these people at Reuters and other alleged "news" sources do not tell you is monumental.

Quote

"In each case, these companies’ products are built in such a way that they can easily be used to illegally surveil the governments, institutions and civilians that use them, a troubling fact given Unit 8200’s documented prowess in surveillance as a means of obtaining blackmail and Israel’s history of using tech companies to aggressively spy on the U.S. government. This is further compounded by the fact that Unit 8200-linked tech companies have previously received U.S. government contracts to place “backdoors” into the U.S.’ entire telecommunications system as well as into the popular products of major American tech companies including Google, Microsoft and Facebook, many of whose key managers and executives are now former Unit 8200 officers."

The Western world is completely finished and anyone who wants to continue there .. well you must need your head testing.. be it the EU.. the UK or the US you have lost everty thing, freedom of speech to to name a few .. Russia is becoming the new place where your allowed freedom of speech (Please do not think im stupid I know perfectly well maybe not so much freedom when it involves criticizing the government ) But in general there is more freedom and rights here .. how many times over and over again are you seeing Russians returning to Russia, how many times are you seeing Russian women doing the same even with their husbands .. more and more and more.. and if they are not doing it many many are thinking about it..

Long live Vlad..
