« on: December 16, 2020, 01:45:50 AM »
Hello everyone, for you, what is the city in Russia with the least crime to be able to live peacefully without fear of theft or other dangers and also with the most beautiful women? :coffeeread:

In advance thanks a lot for your response

I understand your ignorance but it is not spam, I am collecting information for my trip to Russia this 2021 as soon as this pandemic ends, before saying wrong things it is better to think positively that my question can help more people who want to travel to Russia to a good city that is not dangerous and in my case looking for a good woman to marry since my businesses are purely virtual and I can work from anywhere in the world without any problem  tiphat

Thank you very much for your answer, I see that there are several places with beautiful women, I hope those places are not dangerous like several cities in Russia.

I've been to Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Novosibirsk. Based on beauty of city and women, I'll go with St. Petersburg. I haven't lived in any of those cities long enough to judge crime levels.
Over 220 generals and admirals say we are in a fight for our survival like no other time since 1776. If you want to stop the war in Ukraine, fix elections, stop medical tyranny and forced vaccinations, lower inflation and make America and the world a better place, get Trump back into power. The Democrats and Republicans have shown they can't do the job. They are good at robbing us and getting people killed in non stop wars.

Ok well you don't sound like spam.  But what do you mean by "less danger"?  You can get robbed anywhere.  If you're from Peru, I heard South America can be a dangerous place too.  Just like North America.

Moscow and St Petersburg by and large are safe.  The small towns too.  Use street smarts and common sense.  I've lived in 5 Russian cities and they were all fine.

Yes, I live in Peru, there are certain places that are more dangerous than others and I also know that they can rob you anywhere in the world, that is logical, but as in all parts of each country there are places that are not recommended due to their higher index of danger That is why I ask which is one of the less dangerous cities in Russia, since the cities of Samara or Saint Petersburg for example attract my attention.

Been to Khabarovsk, Vladivostok, Moscow and St Pete - in my humblest of opinions I prefer the far east of Russia, less commercialism and generally folks aren’t up their own arse. No McDonald’s etc either so generally less lard arses, again just my humble opinion
If you get a minute check out Bruce's TR - Its not quite finished, however its still a pretty good read IMHO.

If I win the lottery I'll finish it this week if not I'll probably complete it when I retire!!! Until then I hope you enjoy the story so far!

Thanks for your answer, I have mentioned the city of Khabarovsk before, it is a very small city where it is very cold, I do not dislike it, it is an option that I have in mind, once again thank you for your opinion.

Peru, is a fascinating country.

Curious what ever became of A. Fujimori? Did you believe in him?

Yes, Perú is an excellent country, especially its food is excellent, rather your question seems curious to me,  , I don't believe in dictators like Fujimori was, the worst thing is that there are still his children who are destroying Peruvian politics.

Safety won't be much of an issue. One question that might seem strange, but is relevant, how dark is your skin? Maybe that's why you have more of a concern about safety than other, what I would consider, more important concerns.

Cities with a population of a million or more will provide enough entertainment to keep things interesting and will at least have a small percentage of English speaking people.

Moscow, St Pitersburg, Sochi, Kazan, Ekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod are all decent possibilities. But, what are your goals?

Bigger concerns than safety would be who can help me when I have an emergency e.g., plumbing, electric, documentation, cultural etc.? How do I establish a social network? How much for rent/food and transportation/logistics?

You don't speak the language so you'll need to find someone local whom you can trust to help you.

I can make a case for all the cities mentioned above. There are other cities you can also consider, but what are your goals?

I will say this, while I can make a case for many cities, Moscow has BY FAR the largest percentage of English speakers (and Spanish for that matter) and this can't be emphasised enough for foreigners thinking about moving to Russia or looking for a RW for a relationship. A hugely underrated and mostly overlooked fact that goes a very long way to your overall enjoyment living in Russia.

Russia has really changed in the last 5 years, even more so than the way it was just 10 years ago.

Thanks for your answer, about the color of my skin is not dark, in my country they tell me that my skin is white but obviously compared to Europe I am not white, I am about to learn the Russian language since I plan to travel as soon as this pandemic ends So I have time to learn the language, also to marry a Russian woman, live for a while in her country and then come to Peru, that is why I want to locate myself in a city that is not dangerous to know which places I should not travel. Obviously, the Russian woman I would marry I plan to locate through a dating website that I have previously had online girlfriends, however I have never been able to travel to Russia for different reasons, however my goal is to marry a good Russian woman  tiphat

If safety is your biggest concern, then you don't need to worry.

Learning the language will take years before you can communicate deeper thoughts. Reread my post before you take the leap and understand that you'll need help when you get here. Cheers.

Yes, I understand perfectly what you wrote to me, that I need to learn the language not only the basics since I will need to communicate with people for very basic topics such as the supermarket, taxis and other times, so before I go I plan to be in contact with my future wife so that she can help me and I obviously know the Russian language and learn much more every day with a person who speaks it perfectly, thank you very much for your time to write your recommendations, it is very useful  tiphat
