We aew small group, but would be interesting to see a poll of your favourite three actresses.

Mine are the Hepburn's, & J. Binoche ~ but I also like A. MacDowell.

Perhaps add a memorable link you tube. So fess up some names and we will make a poll.

Sigourney Weaver, Greta Scacchi and Charlise Theron are three I like a lot, in no particular order.

Okay agreed there are a lot.

Which ones first pop into your mind? For me it wasn't all of their performances, but a single movie that really stood out.

For Greta it was Presumed Innocent with Harrison Ford.

For Sigourney Weaver it was Alien.

Since I grew up a stone's throw from Hollywood, I'll go old school as I love movies from the 40's and 50's, plus the actresses of that era.

Veronica Lake in This Gun's For Hire.

Laren Bacall in To Have or Have Not.

Marilyn Monroe in Bus Stop.

Another vote for Greta Scacchi, mainly because she grew up in Perth where I'm from and had European ancestry (like most Aussies of that era). Scarlett Johansson who captured my attention in 'Lost in Translation". Thirdly I'll go for Penélope Cruz Sánchez. It probably helped that she and Scarlett were the perfect 3some in Vicky,Christina,Barcelona :-)
