1 Aug, Aussies and Kiwis now have 90 in 180 day visa free regime

Please be informed that according to the Decree of the President of Ukraine №289/2020 of July 21, 2020 - https://www.president.gov.ua/documents/2892020-34449- from the 1st of August 2020 visa free regime is introduced for entry to Ukraine for citizens of Australia and New Zealand if the period of their stay does not exceed 90 days during 180 days.

Liberalization of the visa regime is done with the aim of development of the bilateral relations with foreign partners, reboot of the Ukrainian tourist sphere, activation of the economic cooperation and attraction of foreign investment.

Please take into account that if citizens of Australia and New Zealand plan to stay in the territory of Ukraine  for a long term, meaning more than 90 days, they should apply for long term visas though the Embassy of Ukraine in Australia.

Provisions of the Decree of the President of Ukraine apply only to the citizens of Australia and New Zealand and do not apply to the permanent residents of these states.

Yeah funny how things change.. everyone wants to move to Ozzie now but that is nearly impossible well not easy!! BUT anyone can live in the UK including criminals and so on..London welcomes everyone

Yes, the Australian border is closed OUTBOUND for citizens and residents unless you can gain an exemption from the Homeland Ministry.
Only given for "essential" workers (F1 drivers, actors, rich people, oil rig workers, charity workers and if you've got a family member dying) I failed to gain an exemption because I've not married my partner, and couldn't prove I had lived overseas 6 months and 1 day of the past 12 months.
Ban is currently in force until September 17, but is widely expected to be extended into next year.

This is despite any returning citizen/resident being forced into self paid Hotel quarantine for 14 days.....again no exemptions unless F1 drivers, actors etc and can provide a quarantine "plan" that includes security to make sure you don't leave your 6 star home/property. Covid testing on arrival and day 13 must be passed or quarantine extended
