The forum website Reddit said the unredacted papers had been uploaded as "part of a campaign that has been reported as originating from Russia".

Oh, well if its reported second hand on Reddit, it must be true, eh?

BBC Fake News.

Reddit isn't what I would call a reliable source .... its filled with all kinds of stuff. Some of it true, others not so much.

The BBC is running two anti-Russian stories as first item at the top of the hour, every hour today. Alleged election meddling and Russia is also accused of stealing some virus vaccine info.

Liberal media still so bent out of shape Labour lost the election, they have to find someone to blame.

It's the usual trio of enemies: Russia, North Korea or China. It's been China about Huawei and Hong Kong the last few weeks, It's Russia now, so it'll be NK soon enough.

The fake news train keeps on rumbling.

So, aren't you in contact with 'your mates' in govt ?  :chuckle:

Are you suggesting the Foreign Secretary has not uttered those words ..?

Didn't this goon try to interfere in Brexit ?

https://www.politico.eu/article/9-takeaways-from-obamas-david-cameron-brexit/

Much more of an interference than a few so called leaked documents.. couldn't  keep his gob shut the minute the clown set foot in the UK..

There's no evidence or they'd have published it. Instead the best the BBC could do is quote someone on Reddit. Its nonsense.

The term used was "almost certainly" aka "no proof" aka Fake News.

It appears to be on going investigation which we should see more next week. Here they are likely stealing vaccine research at the end of the report they get into election interference and larger report on that next week.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/uk-us-and-canada-report-russian-cyberspies-may-be-trying-to-steal-vaccine-research/ar-BB16P5gx?li=BBnb7Kz&ocid=U218DHP
3) There has been no "threat" to invade Ukraine. The US invented that and fed it to a complicit media.

I’ve yet to see the Moby’s of the world, get upset when the U.K. does its best to influence foreign politics. It’s like a given in this day and age yet the same types get soaking gussets every time they read about Russia or North Korea in their liberal press.....usually unverifiable reports and lots of telling people what to think.

Any kind of connection to Trump or Boris usually gets them blowing their tatty water.

Curious timing of Russian meddling claims

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-53436525

"Despite many suspicions of attempts at meddling in the referendum and other campaigns, significant concrete evidence is in short supply.

That's one of the reasons why, until today, UK ministers have stopped short of saying that political interference has happened here.

So, it matters that this is the first time a UK minister has made an explicit link to Russia, in one way or another, trying to meddle in elections in the UK.

But the timing of that statement creates its own intrigue too."

From the article linked above.

Quote from: BBC
Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab has not claimed today that Russian influences stole the documents.

They’ve essentially admitted they’re making up fake news then.

You've essentially proved your innate ability to twist words into a meaning that wasn't intended, whilst suggesting others have reading / comprehension deficits

Amazingly, I am not the Tory press officer. But there is nothing to keep a lid on, its fake news. Demonstrated by no proof.

Well, your 'mates' in govt. aren't 'getting the message'

There's something fishy about the report being delayed ..it should have been released BEFORE the election ..

Let's wait and see what's within the report, before we judge it's veracity.

So, the report basically says 'nothing' and 'still nothing'.

There's nothing to see.

The only people for whom the document means anything else are those who are still butt-hurt that the UK has left the EU and want to cling to any straw in order to change that.

I doubt that any rational person, no matter their belief about leaving the EU, honestly thinks that the Russians had any effect on the referendum either to leave or to stay.

What we are seeing is dishonest people, who know the truth, claiming things that they know to be untrue in order to forward their own agenda.

Raising the issue before leaving the EU was decided would have had an effect upon the leave process and that would have been 'interference' but not from Russia.

The right choice was made. Interference in the referendum and leave process was reduced (but not eliminated) and the will of the people, for good or bad, is being carried forward.

...everything ends always well; if it’s still bad, then it’s not the end!
