This story didn’t get any traction here and certainly not in the MSM.

Just goes to show, if the media cannot exploit it, they won’t push it.

I would never put anyone in an old peoples home, basically they will be treated like second rate citizens the moment you leave them, they will have the piss taken out of them by the staff and remember the staff are usually paid a small salary I mean its not a Chief executive job is it? So do you think they care too much? Of course not!! Yes a few may be genuine careers but in general NO NO NO.. I know what goes on in nursing homes there are plenty in Dorset and sisters husbands parents owned a big one (They sold it now)

All the staff are taking the piss, laughing at the old sergeant major who is now suffering senile dementia and walks around with his trousers down and underwear off and much worse..

Best to stay away from the places I think!

Not all old people's homes are bad places, many, if not most, are very good, very pleasant places to live.

If your relatives ran a bad place then that's down to them for running a bad place. I agree with you that the owners and managers have a large role in how well a place runs but the fact it is a business does not make it automatically a bad place.

No they never ran a bad place! It was a nice place! BUT you have to keep an eye on staff cos most simply do not care.. its all a joke for many of them..
