Hopefully sooner rather than later there will be an end to the pandemic sweeping across the world.

While countries have different sensibilities and approaches, what will the future look like when the 'dust settles'? Manny posted an article from the Daily News of Peter Hitchens which gives food for thought.

 USA had our first case of COVID-19 Jan 23 and two months later here we are with massive damage to our economy. This is just the first battle out of many. Can't win this war with one battle. Some people infected will slip through the cracks and another outbreak will happen. These outbreaks will continue to happen all over the world.

My American Friends and UK Friends,
Follow these simple steps to protect yourself and others. It is a Team Co-operation.  We still need you to take down ChiNazi:

• Wear a surgeon grade face mask in congested and confined public spaces like bus, taxi, train, aeroplane, etc.  Vertical electrical lifts are also very dangerous.  It is not necessary though when you are in open large area like park, mountain, etc.
• Wear a large glasses to cover your weakest spot- Eyes
• Do you touch your face under ANY circumstance when you are in public.
• Wash your hands carefully when you are back to home.
• The last but not the least - do NOT trust anything told by ChiNazi.

If you run out of surgical face mask, try to make some by yourself by referring to medical worker's opinion.  3M's highest grade air-conditioner filter can be the middle layer of a home-made N95 face mask.

WASTE of money and effort ..unless you are changing it every six minutes ...  as soon as it is moist - it is ineffective

In a taxi, open the windows and don't touch anything with your bare hands .. avoid public transport - if crowded... and IF flying and the filters are changed before every flight - the air is replaced every two to three mins ... the 'danger' is queuing to get on / off ..unless the person sat next to you is coughing .. a surgical mask won't help in that case ..

Staying away from other people is safest - period

While I wished that the this thread would be guesses and assumptions about what the world would look like post Wuhan Virus that does not look like it will happen.

One thing that I am confident of those with young children under the age of say 12 these children will have a very different childhood that those we had. Also it is a guess the teenagers of today will become far more narcissistic, self centered and fatalistic than they already are. A sad realization.

Check out the infection data of major Asian cities. We have much higher population density than our USA and European friends, we can still control this virus quite well.

Japan's population is higher and older. Population density is also high.  This disease is under their control very well.

Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan are the closest to ChiNazi.  Wuhan disease is still under control.

Curious where does Jesus in the Bible refer to children as 'bitter fruit'?

In Hebrews 12:15 is the following text "Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; . . ."

In Proverbs 1:31 is this text "Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.

 It will be interesting to see how international travel is going to be effected after all this blows over. For months, or even years after the virus comes under control and countries start opening up their borders again I can see them cautiously screening who comes in. And what about the Schengen visa? is that going to be a thing of the past? Free movement throughout the EU could be over with!

I’ve just done some business with a company in Taiwan. I gather they have it well under control there.
