Stuck at Home? These 12 Famous Museums Offer Virtual Tours You Can Take on Your Couch (Video)

Going into a self-quarantine can have many complex issues and complications beyond having enough food and supplies for two weeks. In terms of entertainment, it also probably means you’re in for a lot of boredom, a lot of Netflix, and a lot of browsing the internet.

But there is a way to get a little culture and education while you’re confined to your home. According to Fast Company, Google Arts & Culture teamed up with over 500 museums and galleries around the world to bring anyone and everyone virtual tours and online exhibits of some of the most famous museums around the world..

Now, you get “go to the museum” and never have to leave your couch.

Google Arts & Culture’s collection includes the British Museum in London, the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, the Guggenheim in New York City, and literally hundreds of more places where you can gain knowledge about art, history, and science. This collection is especially good for students who are looking for ways to stay on top of their studies while schools are closed.

While we are not on lock down (yet) all spas, gyms, swimming pools, cinemas, museums etc are closed. So not much to go out for.

No increase in culture needed. Work continues as normal. So normal work interspersed with YouTube and treadmill sessions.

Thanks for the offer though. :)

Most people will struggle with less to do.
If you have a solid life and relationship
you should be fine. Read a book, watch a documentary
you haven't had time for. plenty of better ways to spend time.

God forbid talk to your wife lol.

Next baby boom in 9 months
divorce rate going as spouses are forced
to talk to each other
There is nothing permanent except change.

They say the whole of the population over 70 may have to or will be forced to do this soon..

It sounds like one of these Hollywood disaster zombie/virus apocalypse movies now.. I always thought some time some thing big will happen.. usually things come in there's .. 1. Stock market crash.. 2. Virus.. next? A big rock hit the planet , take down the whole planets satellite systems .. sunlight blocked for 2 years..

Doesn't take much before everyone can be living in caves again..
