Belarus Travel Ban
« on: January 21, 2020, 09:58:02 PM »
Trump has created a new list of countries for a new travel ban, which includes Belarus.  Seems like it will be a lot harder for Belarusians to come to America.  And of course then Belarus will retaliate and it will be harder for Americans to travel there.  Belarus is a magnificent country, very safe, clean, beautiful very honest people.  Not to mention beautiful women.

So what do the Trump supporters think of this?  This time they're banning byeli I krasivaye chelovek.

Trump weighs travel ban expansion in coming days
The list of countries is not yet final and could be changed, but nations
under consideration for new restrictions include Belarus, Myanmar
(also known as Burma), Eritrea, Kyrgyzstan, Nigeria, Sudan and
Tanzania, according to two people familiar with the matter.

Oh no, I hope Trump doesn’t spoil my impending trip to Nigeria next month. I’m really looking forward to getting ripped off and possibly kidnapped by those swell people.

Lord of the Dance, you do notice that Belarus is on that list.  Also Kyrgyzstan which is another former soviet country with a Russian population.

It hasn’t a thing to do with attractive women, it has to do with Trump’s prioritization of the economy over silly political issues. That’s why he’ll most likely be re-elected this year.

No, that impeachment farce has served as nothing but a huge waste of time and resources at the taxpayers' expense.

The travel ban prevents citizens from the affected nations from entering the US. My government cannot prevent me from traveling wherever I wish. However, if the affected countries reciprocate, they could ban me from entering their lands (hence my joke about Nigeria - where a captive Christian was just beheaded).

As to the police, comply and you won't be hurt. If you feel you've been wronged, take it to court (or, more aptly, to the SJWs to heal your boo-boo). The mass shootings that we experience are an effect of just how much freedom we have in the United States - to own firearms as our second amendment allows.

Whilst I understand that you probably can covertly, what are your feelings about your government banning US citizens from visiting Cuba and North Korea?

Gratefulness. Helps to keep the traitors in line (and protected for their own good).

Back when I was in high school, there was this kid who was a bit of an oddling, rather quiet and reserved. One day he sat down next to me in the cafeteria and started talking about our property in Islamorada (apparently having learned about it from the other kids while I was on vacation or something). He was talking as though he was really interested in the place and I figured he wanted to bum a free vacation off me for spring break or something. Couldn't have been more wrong. He wanted me to use our speedboat to run him down to Cuba and drop him off! No Joke! He thinks he'll be the next 'great' communist leader.

What they are saying is that if one gets in trouble in said country, the US government will not come to the rescue.

To be fair, the beheading was by Boko Haram who are engaged in some kind of insurgency within Nigeria and other African countries. Nigeria is facing some serious problems from several elements in the country making the lives of many people very scary and leading to people leaving the country seeking asylum elsewhere.

Yankee, your point about consular assistance is not really true is it, eh? The US has imposed bans on travel communication with Cuba.
Tourism to Cuba is once again banned by the U.S government. U.S cruise ships are once again banned from the island. Scheduled flights to Cuba are again banned, except for flights to Havana.
Basically, the Trump regime is rolling back the Obama era relaxation of sanctions and communication bans.

I read 2talls Political article. Bans could be just banning a few officials from coming to America so if Trump bans a few Belarusian officials, Belarus can ban a few American officials. Not the end of the world The girls shouldn't be affected by the ban.
Over 220 generals and admirals say we are in a fight for our survival like no other time since 1776. "Speaking to reporters on Jan. 22 at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Trump said he would widen what was already “a very powerful ban” to improve national security. “We’re adding a couple of countries” to the ban, he said, adding: “We have to be safe. Our country has to be safe.” He did not confirm which countries would be affected or to what extent."

Country has to be safe? your having a laugh .. it is not safe to live any where in the US unless you have a shotgun under the bed..What a stupid comment from dick head Trump..

"Instead, he said, the biggest victims would be EU nationals or nationals of other countries who had visited Belarus in the past 10 years. Under the system currently in place for countries under a US travel ban, these travelers would not longer be eligible for the visa waiver system, and instead would have to apply to the US  embassy for a visa to visit—a far more expensive, time-consuming process. A German who had, for example, visited Belarus for conference six years earlier would now have to apply for a visa from their local US embassy in order to enter the country."

If I need to go the US I certainly will not be telling them about my prevues trips to Belorussia they are in my old passport so nothing to do with the dim wits!!

It is about time US nationals needed a visa to enter the UK .. problem is that will never happen while they have weak feeble PM's in the UK with their tongues stuck way to far up Uncle Sams ass..

Trump didn't say that. No sense getting worked up over something that hasn't happened.

“We’re adding a couple of countries” to the ban, he said,

That's what Trump said yet we have media saying it's 7 nations to get people pissed off at Trump. It worked.

If any action is going to be taken on Belarus, it'll be against officials. America has already sanctioned a few of their officials for bad behavior.

I've dated several women from Belarus one of which I became quite fond of.

Additionally Belarus has a rather large presence on the dating sites despite its small size.  Also easier to juggle if the women are from different cities.

I tried a balancing act in 2017 with a woman in Moscow, one in Novosibirsk and one in Vladivostok.  Needless to say I raked up a lot of miles on Aeroflot.

But the bottom line of my post is arguing against an unfair political move.

The USA isn't a democracy, we are a constitutional republic.

Little has been said about any travel bans. I think that possibly
somebody in Belarus is might be banned from traveling to the
US. There isn't anything official yet, it's all speculation at this
point.
