Ukrainian demographics

Despite the myths, 50% of Ukrainian people are male. In fact, males outnumber females in their 30s. Casualties in The Crimean war are not and likely will not have a large affect on this. However, there are significantly more babushkas than grandpas, due to the shorter life expectancy. Furthermore, the population of the country is declining with a birth rate of 10/1000 people per year and a mortality rate of 15/1000 per year. This is the same as in most countries. No surprises.

The gender imbalance thing was mail order bride marketing propaganda that refuses to die - even after the business up and died!

The depopulation thing though, in Ukraine - that's very real and a very real issue that might be understated by the numbers you shared.

The demographics side of things is all BULLSHIT when it comes to finding a women to marry..it makes no difference if there are 50 million more women in Russia or Ukraine to your chances of marrying  a women..

Absolute rubbish made up by I don't know who.. but you will see so many stories like:

"The demographics of Russia mean there are 10 million more women in Russia than men.. what does this mean? It means it is soooo easy to find one of these women"

And what happens if the extra 10 million women are in their 60's 

Its a bit like the old stories you will read saying " Russian women (Or Ukrainian ) women marry at a young age usually 24 and they are married if they are not married they are considered old..and past it.. no one will marry them. Or some other crazy stories..

Yes it was the same situation in the UK FIFTY YEARS AGO!!! And it was the same in Russia and Ukraine THIRTY YEARS ago but not now..

Demographics do not really factor into the dating arena.  There are people who dated only one person and married them for life.  There are people who dated thousands of people all over and end up with nothing.  So from a statistical viewpoint, the person who failed to marry had a much better chance to find a compatible person.
