Georgia kicking off
« on: June 21, 2019, 02:53:54 PM »
Yesterday, a member of the Duma was due to speak in the Georgian Parliament and there were demonstrations against the visit as he was accussed of serving in 'Abkhazia' - the breakaway Georgian Republic - against Georgia

There was some rioting and the bused / trains stopped

Tonight it kicked off again - and apparently VVP has signed a degree banning flights to / from Heorgia and suggesting RU citizens might need to be evacuated !

This is all second hand news from GE and RU news

I saw lots of RU tourists there in all my visits and SC - nor my biz partners have ever felt unsaft

I have never claimed to be a Blue Beret

Spurious claims about 'seeing action' with the Blue Berets are debunked >here<

Here is my Russophobia/Kremlinphobia topic
