Driving in Russia.
« Reply #25 on: October 04, 2017, 12:19:21 PM »
TomCat's link is SO true ..

If I had written that - I'd be a 'russophobe'  :chuckle:

Other tips:

If a large SUV or saloon ( sedan) closes at speed to your rear bumper - they're probably not in a hurry - just irritated that you are on the same piece of road

When the lights go Green - don't floor it - thinking they are 'asleep' .. They are waiting for the driver who didn't stop on amber - but floored it ...

I have never claimed to be a Blue Beret

Spurious claims about 'seeing action' with the Blue Berets are debunked >here<

Here is my Russophobia/Kremlinphobia topic

Better put on some extra layers of clothing, Moscow in the winter can be a bit chilly!

Nice travel video in Kaliningrad.

Very cool travel video series, what to do in two days for $100. I liked the one about Yekaterinburg as well. There’s even one for Sochi!  :)

Tom Cat made the mistake of posting interesting and useful links. It was inevitable that Moby would attack him.

Your minuscule experience in Russia doesn’t Trump that of a professional travel show and in fact most on this forum would rather read other bloggers and watch videos of real unbiased travelers than sort through the mine field of your constant drivel and unnecessary injection of twisted political commentary into nearly every post and every thread nobody cares when YOU were last there as you have almost zero credibility, don’t go away mad just go away.

It's an interesting dynamic isn't it?

You could break it all down and ultimately come to the conclusion that Moby feels like an expert because he's been there a few times recently. It also makes him feel better about himself if he attacks or bullies another member, who may not have been there recently. Moby feels empowered by his irrelevant little travels.

Given TC's reasons for not being there recently, you'd expect a normal person to feel some kind of embarrassment and shame for the attack, possibly even apologise out of courtesy. Moby wont, Moby's mentally ill.

Quite abhorrent the way Moby chose to have a laugh at TC’s expense.
He’s just the worst kind of lowlife nature has dredged up from its deepest cesspit.
