Nights out in St Petersburg for the younger ones at least:)
« on: December 29, 2015, 03:32:10 PM »
For anyone deciding to spend a few days in St Petersburg and looking for some entertainment in the evenings, not that you will need it if your planning a night out with some young women ;D

I can make some recommendations..

If your under 30 and looking for a club with lots of pretty young women you are best heading for http://www.metroclub.ru the place is usually packed out on the weekends. Entrance is just 500 roubles and includes a free beer. Its not the place to be if your much over 30 or your going to look out of place and probably stupid.

For bars and small clubs the best place in the city for the younger generation and students is along Dumskaya Ulitsa http://petersburg4u.com/bars-and-clubs-on-dumskaya-street  If your youngish its pretty easy to chat some students up and the drink prices are very inexpensive £3.00 for two pints of beer ;D So if your travelling to St Petersburg on a tight budget its defiantly the place to be) The resident DJ in many of the bars along the street is a good US friend of mine http://rbth.com/multimedia/2012/07/18/my_life_in_russia_tomas_lawrence_from_california_16459
Everyone is friendly and your unlikely to get into any problems there :)

If your looking for some thing a little more upmarket you could try Rossi Club which I would definitely recommend Im often there with the wife for a dance :party0011:
http://rossis.ru/index2.php  You will not look out of place here if your knocking on a little either. There is usually a show involving strippers male and female along with other competitions on the stage all in an easy going atmosphere. Usually a few foreigners are hanging about trying to catch a women most are unsuccessful , but who knows you could be lucky :)

 :)

Do you ever go Tribunal bar?

I went there on my last visit after a recommendation from this board. Was quite eventful but the dancers and crowd were a little on the moody side  :hidechair:

Chances are that our moby is just telling 'stories' again.

I bet when he had a job he was not averse to enjoying the female form as a work of art and entertainment.

I agree there.. He's just trying to pretend he's slightly intelligent and cultured I see it happen all the time. For instance have you noticed how even the most stupid person can buy a pair of trendy glasses and be immediately transformed to someone with intelligence

Hey, that's a pic of my old glasses!

Also, it seems like the 'names' for places to go have not changed over the years.

A favourite old haunt that seems to have gone away is Konushenny Dvor. A great place in the late 90's and early oughties. Free entrance for holders of foreign passports, all others paid. Had the most gorgeous dancers, strictly look but no touch, reputedly all ballerinas. They had a great MC who is now a fixture on Russian TV (short bloke with a beard - can't recall his name).

Im not sure any venues give free entrance for foreign passport holders now, most foreigners in St petersburg wouldn't be able to keep up with many of the locals on the evenings expenditure in good venues.
I have often felt like a foreign peasant searching some extra loose change in the pockets :chuckle:

Yes, the world turns. Times change. I have to say that I am not unhappy with the idea that Russians have a few bob and that both men and women are no longer expected to put up with the indignities they bore back then.

Understand the difference.... those pictures were  posted with her encouragement [Manny agreed this was the case ] and were  riposte to the board's 'expert' on my life-style.

Secondly, the 'target' is 2 times older - or more - than the lasses whose fathers probably wish they would take another job...rather than gyrating for fat 'ol gits...

Strip bars in Russia are slightly different to entertainment at a club. Entertainment at a Russian club is just a more erotic version of Butlins Holiday camps and very normal in Russia. Nothing wrong with some entertainment in the evening! As for strip bars I have only been to 2 in twelve years and would not waste my money, most of the women at strip bars are pretty rough any way, a little like lap dancing bars in the UK a waste of money and of no interest to me. I have no need to pay some stupid women $20 to sit on my lap and do a semi naked dance :Zzzzsleep:

So, you choose to post pics of your target specifically for the pleasure of other blokes?

I have to say that seems more than a little 'unfortunate' to me.

Are you telling us that you are easily led?
That you delight in the voyeuristic pleasures of others?
That you are a somewhat hypocritical prude?
Or perhaps a menage of the above?

Uggghhhh!!  :sick0012:

My take?

He'd love the idea but be absolutely afraid to go, on one hand because it'd mean his prowess would be on display for ridicule and on the other because his target might find a more manly man.

Both would almost certainly be a figment of his imagination, nobody would care enough about either case but, as has been said by others, there is no stronger prison than one's own mind!
