EU to offer Ukraine pathway to visa-free travel in Europe

To be fair, Rosco, the blockade was not really about grain. It was about keeping up an import route for arms and ammunition to Ukraine. For sure, though, closing down that export route has upped the ante for farmers in surrounding countries as Ukraine dumps their produce on EU markets.

That is also absolutely true Andrew........but think of the poor starving Africans!!

There is an economic law called the law of supply and demand. Grain is a
commodity like oil is. Reducing supply increases the price from poor Africans to
rich movie stars in Beverly Hills.

There are more variables* than that but generally it's supply and demand. 
The politicians/professional finger pointers blab and point at the poor black
children with snotty noses and flies on their faces because they look the most
needy and pathetic to blame on Russia. 

*Spring vs Winter Wheat, Hard vs Soft, white vs red, do you eat noodles or
bread, how far into the future you are buying/selling it, shipping costs, etc.,
etc.
