I grew up in a house largely smaller than most of those houses.  It was still bigger than most apartments in Kiev. :)
After the fall of communism, the biggest mistake Boris Yeltsin's regime made was not to disband the KGB altogether. Instead it changed its name to the FSB and, to many observers, morphed into a gangster organisation, eventually headed by master criminal Vladimir Putin. - Gerard Batten

I have never seen houses so small in my life. Must not take too much time to clean them.

Orchid, "Largely smaller" is confusing. I am having a difficult time trying to understand what you mean. Maybe you mean a "little smaller?"

For me, any small house is always better than any big apartment.

I agree. Cleaning would be much easier in a small house. But that’s what I like to do.
I am just wondering where I would put all my 300 pairs of shoes?
Small house would make me a better person. I think I would go down to 100 pairs of shoes.
At least I would remember what I have….

It was Halo who said "Largely smaller". So, ask her.
My problem is that I like Halo no matter what she says, and I like you no matter what you understand.
I do not know who can help me to solve this problem.  :)

All that matters is we keep liking each other.  :)

I agree a small house is better than a large apartment.

Another small house but with red carpet.
Can you imagine to be on red carpet any time when you walk into your house?

From the beginning, I was amazed in the USA about colors of houses and color of cakes.
They are almost the same.

Have you seen any Pronghorn Antelope yet? That is an amazing creature that has the ability to run at very high speeds for long distances. Fastest land animal in the world next to the cheetah. Actually they are related closer to goats than antelopes.

Very cool photos BTW.

Look on the previous page Maxx, in the picture right after the cows. There are a couple of Antelope there.

Orchid, we have areas in our city that  have a lot of those little houses too. They were built right after WW2 for the soldiers who came back after the war to live in, we call them war houses. Maybe those houses you see are the same.

Very nice pictures, thanks for sharing!

There are a lot of antelopes.
I saw antelopes in Idaho also, when I went to see Government cave.
I remember, when our van stopped, I exclaimed “Cave is just a hole in the ground in the middle of nowhere! And no fast food! It does not look like America!”
There was professor of math in our group.
He said to me “There is only one fast food out here. It’s antelopes that we saw. Trust me, they are very fast!”

Thank you, Mr.D672.
I have never been in Canada.
It's interesting to know that we have something in common besides language.

The car with 442 on the grille, for the car buffs here, is that a Pontiac? I am guessing 69-72 vintage?
